When you were you
I
did not realize
the
beauty
of
the honesty
that
you did exude
ashamed
as I was
at
the difference
the
world
saw
in you
I
was caught up in being a normal
that
never would exist
longed
to fit in
which
I could not do
while
associated with you
so
I distanced myself
from
the only one being true
Know
when I look back
I
admire and love you
wish
I had been
just
a little like you
wish
the world could be like
when
you were you
