UNWORTHY
At first I noticed nothing
Beyond the desire to obtain
A few moments
A lifetime
Of needing clothes
Re-arranged
Then the sighs
The kisses
The touches
Cease to be the same
The want for nearness
With irritants is replaced
I don't understand this man
- Who eventually awakes
Growing cold
distant
Once a relationship
has taken place.
