SYMPATHY PLEA

 

 

If you want to talk

About being lonely

Of not being the object

Of anyone's eyes

You've come to the wrong place

Those in need of sympathy

Need not apply

Because a relationship based on pity

Just isn't my style

Everyone is needy

And alone at times

And I being self-centered

Haven't got the time

To flatter and console
