it is almost

like you pick them

because you can sense

the harm they intend

 

it is like you wish

to be

 the next

in a long line of victims

 

it is a pattern

which in your history

you have played out

time and time again

 

the submissive one

dominated by your man

subject to his selfish whims

but that is how you want it

 

though otherwise you may pretend
