Bigger Days

 

 

I walk my familiar places

And look at the same buildings and faces

With a new perspective

I feel above it all

But not better

 Than what I see

Feel more solid

More confident in me

 

And I can't figure how it happened

No life event

To reflect this change in me

This tendency - today - to grin at the world around me

And I know it will be gone tomorrow

But it isn’t bothering me

I will enjoy the day

For it comes and goes so quickly
