left one day and came back three days later - he brought his
new bride, Susie, with him - she was "with pup". We
watched as Susie progressed so we could put her in a kennel to have her pups but miscalculated by a couple of days. She had
her pups in an old fox den in the side of a hill at the edge of the
woods by our house. It was difficult to see them up in that
hole and absolutely impossible to touch them. Marcia wanted
to help Susie so much. I stuck the digital camera as far up in
the hole as I could and snapped the picture below. Susie
brought the pups out at 10 days old. Marcia made up for lost
time - the pups grew up on the back porch.
