It had been exactly one year since Ash and Brock had died. Misty moped around at the place where she had first met Ash. "Oh Ash," she said, "I just wish I had another chance to tell you how I truely felt for you.."
She sighed and looked up at the sky. "That bike wasn't a big deal.... wait! The bike! Ash could come back because of my bike!!" Said Misty. She had glossy, sparkly eyes in high hopes that her love would come back to her.
"What am I doing? I should be thinking of a way to get revenge, but instead, I'm just making foolish wishes that will never come true anyway." She began to cry. Ash was gone, there was no changing that.
"I got it! I can kill James and that dude who shot me! Well, I'll just injure him severely.." Said Misty as she got out her gun. "Ha ha ha! Revenge is mine!" She headed towards Team Rocket Headquarters.
"Jessie, James, excellent job getting that Pikachu! You will get a raise and a new mission. As far as I can see, when you guys get desperate enough, you guys will kill to get what you want. I like that in a member. Just don't get too carried away..." Said Giovanni. "Yes sir!" Said Jessie, James, and Meowth. "Meowth, keep taking place in Pokemon captures like you did that Pikachu, and you'll be top cat again!" Said Giovanni. "Yay!" Said Meowth, with stars in his eyes.
"I can't believe that we got that Pikachu." Said James. "And we're rid of that brat for good!" Sang Jessie. "Did you hear that, I might be top cat again!" Said Meowth. "Yeah" said James. Many things had been happening in Team Rocket that year... Jessie recovered, James proposed to Jessie, Jessie accepted, Cassidy and Jessie got along a little better... a little! Okay, make that very little! Nonetheless, they all expected Misty to come back. When she left the hospital, she tried to strangle Butch, Cassidy, and Jessie. James could barely hold her back! They all agreed that she was very strong. They all watched out for themselves, and eachother, for Rocket Members were supposed to watch out for eachother.
Meanwhile, right outside Viridian Gym..
"Now, the HEADQUARTERS must be around here somewhere... Ahha! I found it!" said Misty. She pulled out her gun and kicked the door down. "I'm baaack!" She yelled as loud as she could. To her surprise, no one came to fight with her. Little did Misty know, it was 3 o clock on the morning, and all the Rocket Members were asleep. "HELLO?! Someone had better get out here right NOW!!!" She yelled at the top of her lungs. She began to bang on everyone's door. Jessie walked out, very angry and said, "Who is that banging on my door?!" Misty looked up at her and grinned. "Don't you remember me?"
Jessie glared at her. Misty glared back. Misty pulled out her gun and fired. Jessie was right in front of her, yet she missed. The last thing she could remember or feel was the giant bruise on the back of her head from where Cassidy had hit her with a bazooka. Then everything was black.
The next morning, she woke up the find herself strapped to a wall in Jessie's room. She escaped somehow, and ran out of the room, gun out and ready. She saw that no one was in their rooms, so she explored the building. She found the Team Rocket Cafe. She looked in, and she saw Butch and James drinking beer, and laughing. Cassidy and Jessie just stood next to them, sweatdropping.
"Good, they're all right where I want them! I could just walk in there, then calmly shoot, or march in and yell, then shoot....... Yell, then shoot!" Said Misty. So, she ran in and started yelling.
"I am back for my revenge, and no one can stop me!" She yelled. Misty shot at James, and hit him in his leg. She shot again, and missed. Jessie stood up and said, "Look you little b*tch, I've had about enough of you and that stupid gun of your's. I don't wanna fight you, but by God, I will if I have to!"
"Musashi, it's not you I want. It's James and Butch!" Said Misty. "What did Butch ever do to you?" Asked Cassidy. "He shot me in the leg!" Yelled Misty. "You have problems," said Meowth. "I will not give up until I have my revenge!!!!" said Misty. Jessie had had about enough of this.. she pulled out her gun and threatened Misty. "Oh, look, I'm shaking!" Misty said as she fired her gun again, and hit Jessie in the arm. Jessie could no longer fight.
Cassidy got her bazooka out and fired it at Misty. It hit her right in her stomach. Misty started laughing, and said, "Yess! Now I will see my love again!"
"That's what YOU think..." Butch said as he called the paramedics. The paramedics came and took Jessie, James, and Misty off to the hospital. They had to perform surgery on Misty.
Three weeks later... James and Jessie were out of the hospital 2 weeks earlier. The surgery went well on Misty. She considered it the end of the world. "Well, I got my revenge! Or close enough to it! I quit! I'll just keep on getting injured and surviving!" Said Misty.
James, Jessie, you guys go get that Misty girl," said Giovanni. "But sir, she almost killed everyone in Team Rocket!" Said James. "I'm well aware of that! We could use her. I'll team her up with you two."
"Alright, sir." Said Jessie.
So, Jessie, James, and Meowth went to search for Misty.
"Why are we doing this again?" Asked James. "Because the boss said so!" said Jessie.
At that same time, on the otherside of the tree, Misty sat down to rest and grieve. She decided that she wated to be tough. She missed Ash and Brock more than ever. She finally got up and walked around the tree. Who did she see on the other side?
"What are YOU two doing here?!"
"We were looking for you." Said Jessie.
"Why?"
"The boss wants you to join Team Rocket." Said James.
"Fine. There's nothing else for me to do." Said Misty.
Jessie and James looked at her and nodded, for they had joined for similar reasons. So they headed off to headquarters to get Misty into Team Rocket. For the first time in a year, Misty felt as if she belonged somewhere.
