Damokis / Rengkong Tekeluaq / Perpetual - Uncensored
This is the first time i reviewed a 3 way split. Its kinda exhausting cause your goin' to hear all three of them with different kind of styles. Gee introduce this to me, so i give it a try.. Damokis is a type of trashmetal to me. The intro of their first track is like a news agency clips and a woman orating some malaysian language. When i continue listening, it has too much metal riffs with a little bit of grind. What i hate in this are tracks no.7 and 8, its like a soundtrack from a japanese anime "Voltes V". hehehe..For those guys who are interested to this type, try to listen to them. Rengkong Tekeluaq- This demo was last recorded december 2001.. Its like an aggressive punk band with a touch of grind, more screaming and it is very raw. I can't even hear the bass drum..This also contains too much intro's to their track with split seconds of musick. Some intro's are taken from cartoon shows and even samba / cha-cha shit tunes! hehe.. Thanks to Farid Osman and the rest of Rengkong Tekeluaq, i prefer good quality recording soon. Maybe I could enjoy reviewing it. Perpetual- A grindcore band from Sabah,Malaysia..an aggressive type. It includes a cover from Brutal Truth (Walking Corpses) and Napalm Death (Practice What You Preach). Fast as hell type of recording. The vocals are extremely executed growls! Heavy guitar riffs and superb delivery of the drums, with catchy and slam grooves too. It's like in the veins of Nasum. Further more this band contains 5 grinders with a massive type of musick. Hope to hear your full length soon and can't wait to review it.. And to all influenced with grind, check this guys out.. They really kick ass!!, I like this type of grindcore,with a pinch of brutality inside.. - Alan

DFTW/Dissimulate - Durog Na Mundo Split CD
Hailing straight from the north of the Philippines, Olongapo City, the entity that is Down From The Wound is comprised of three parts: Tristan(vocals), Jep(guitar), and Randyl(drums). Musically DFTW caters a massive dose of grindcore and some hardcore influence.(in my opinion) Guitars are heavy, drums are well executed, and of course this insanity would never be complete without the guttural/splat vox. They never lacked the aggression that a grind band should have... On the other hand, we have this young, talented band called Dissimulate. Ok sick fucks Dissimulate are into grind, with slight elements of death metal, but those are the less... They know how to inflct pain to the ears of the listeners... hehehe!!!! Ive'd been lucky enough to hang out with these guysmore than once and they are fucking great on stage!!! Overall, this CD is cool, the packaging is kinda DIY, but neat!!! You sickfucks gotta see them live!!! To understand what these two great bands are all about!!! -Jamie

Dyscrasia / Putrid Pile – Split
Two amazing bands team up to bring some sickness in one cd… Both bands are quite recognized in the death metal scene. Let’s start with Dyscrasia… This band contributes 6 tracks taken from “Genocide of the Unborn”, fueled by sick gutturals and tremendous breakdowns. They also have some occasional blastbeats, and the groove reminds me a bit of Texas band Devourment, especially the slower part, that sounds really heavy and brutal... The 2nd band is Putrid Pile… A one man band, Shaun Lacanne is alone to take charge this fucking sickness! Spewing 2 studio tracks plus 4 live songs that taken from Maryland Death Fest 2004… Putrid Pile plays a good blend with old school and new school death metal that builds sickest and crushing material in death metal scene. Nothing more to add! Grab this mind-blowing split cd!!! - Gee

Embalming Theatre/Torture Incident - Split Organ
Hailing from Switzerland, Embalming Theatre provides 9 tracks of grinding mayhem! This band is a perfectly balanced between death metal and standard grindcore! Some of the riffs are much into old school death metal and typical grindcore style! The songs are kinda primitive but it is well arranged and delivered. And of course the intensity of the musick is still there. And the gruesome growls and screams are very impressive!!! And also they do cover song from mighty Terrorizer called Fear of Napalm! Great!!! So check this out! Let's move on with these Malaysian grindgods called Torture Incident. After releasing their split cd w/Brutal Insanity which is released by Malaysian label Reverb Prods, they are back with this Split Organ! This maggot eaters plays absolutely raw and chaotic, offers 11 songs of extreme grind/crust! The vocals are pretty deep (Not that ultra guttural) and it is into standard goregrind/grindcore vocals way! They play faster than Embalming Theatre. the sound production is raw but it is pretty audible, all instruments are well balanced! This band also do a cover song from Warsore - Intro Morbid, and from Demisor - Raised In Misery! Check this two grind bands and get your organs split! - Gee

Horror Blast / Splattered Cavities - Split Cd
This wicked split was released by Thailand label Brute! Productions. The 1st band Is Horror Blast hailing from Brazil which give 7 tracks of furious deathgrind with a lot of old grind touches in the vein of Carcass especially the slow parts and mid tempos.. The soundproduction is totally raw and I think they recorded live in their rehearsal studio. But the music itself still intense! I hope the next release of these two sickfucks will have a good soundproduction and will be much sicker! The 2nd band Is Splattered Cavities provides 4 songs using hammering drumblastmachine that reminds me Torsofuck and Retch! This is absolutely bone breaking brutal death with gurgling vockills and heavy guitars... Definitely to be listened! Check these two monster bands and grab a copy from Thai label Brute! Mincing Fury And The Guttural Glamour Of Queer Decay/ Screaming Afterbirth
Two excellent grind bands put together in one punishing release by Bizarre Leprous prod. Mincing Fury And The Guttural Glamour Of Queer Decay came from the land of Czech Republic. Intense, raw, and brutal grindings is what you can hear from this band. You will surprise with their razor sharp riffings, pulverizing blast drummings and aggressive damaging pig squeals! Some of the riffs remind me good Swedish crusty styles! They got some funny cool intros here and also check their cover song from Cephalic Carnage entitled "One Six". Let's move across with Screaming Afterbirth. This band offers 6 songs of furious powerful grinding molestation that will chop your penis into pieces! With malevolent shredding riffs, huge destructive drumworks and insane various sick vocals style! Plus they do a cover song from Terrorizer called "Fear Of Napalm" which is intensely and brutally delivered! Grab this cd or die!!! And be prepared for brutal grinding onslaught!!! - Gee

Riphead / Drogheda
Riphead- When I heard their first track, I thought it was a sludge..slow and weak tunes. The guitars are heavy and crunchy, but their music still didn't catch my emotions. Its a mix with thrash and heavy metal, sometimes they shift into hc/crust/grind.. its kinda weird thou..hehe! The great about this 3 man band is they can the vocals.. so that includes the drummer.. So to those humans are into this kind of musick, a thrash/heavy metal (but it doesn't impress me) try to listen to them..maybe they can rip your head apart! hehe Drogheda- This grindcore band is one of the best i've listen to.. a total fuckin' anti-government grinders. Fast and raw musick, with deep growls and pointed screams. A great combination to ooze your otitis media out of your ears. The drums are intensly delivered, ponding your heart out into it. Some of these i love to hear are tracks no.12 (bring me the head of state) and no.14 (hairtriggered sociopath) reminds me some part of Phobia. I dont know what's the next thing that i could say,hehehe.. But to all great fans of grindcore, listen to this. Brutal mixtures of substance called ravish grindness. - Alan

Rompeprop / Tu Carne - Just a Matter of Splatter
Rompeprop is one of the finest goregrind these days! This band contributes 6 songs of demolishing goregrind anthems and 1 intro, plus 1 outro! 8 tracks all in all in Rompeprop side! The intro is kinda weird and funny! And this is one of the funniest intros that I've ever heard soundlike babyish stuffs Lullaby! Hehehe! And when the insane vocal starts jointly with the Lullaby music, it became more funny and bizarre! Hehehehe!!! Also the lyrics are hilarious and it's all about porn/sexist way... Rompeprop musick is straight forward goregrind with a good blend of crust/punk influences, especially those catchy elements! Sometimes it reminds me a bit of Last Days of Humanity, but Rompeprop are bit slower and have more grooves ingredients! Tu Carne hailing from Spain plays traditional goregrind (for me!). But the music itself is still aggressive yet powerful. The sound production is raw and tight! But only one bad thing of Tu Carne sound is the guitar tone, it sounds thin and lack of distort! I think it is need to be more mixed! The lyrics are written in Spanish language! This Split is not supposed to be missed!!! - Gee

Siamese Brutalism Assault - 4 way split
The cd contains 4 most brutal bands hailing from Thailand. Lacerate, Deathguy, A Good Day For Killing, and She's Gore. Each band contributes 3 songs only and this is enough to assaulting some filthy ears out there hehehe... I would like to thank Ekkachai (Vocals of A Good Day For Killing) for sending this material. Let's start with the first band Lacerate. This band has a good mixture between old school death metal and some new brutal death grind bands nowadays especially their grooves catchy touches combined with unmerciful grindings and pounding blasting onslaught. Also the vocals are harsh, chaotic and well diverse also the drummer is quite fast. Although the soundproduction is good! Check this band out and be lacerated!!! The 2nd band is Deathguy. I've checked this band and listened their song recently entitled "The Beast" which is taken from their promo material if i'm not mistaken... The songs appear this split are kinda different if I will compare to previous works. They skip some melodies and adding up some brutal components in my observation. And ofcourse this is more brutal than their previous songs if you ask me, especially the vocal parts are heavier and more cruel, also the pig squeals of Thanit really impressed me hehehe... Some grooves are pretty catchy with some astonishing grindings and remorselss blastbeats. The soundproduction is decent and well done.. Horns up! The 3rd band is A Good Day For Killing. I already know that this band is fully loaded with remarkable blastings. with razor sharp guitars and blistering tight drumworks! AGDFK plays raw brutal death grind obviously in American vein. The gutturals of Ekkachai reminds me a bit of Brodequin style... I hope the full length of this band is now in the works! The last band is She's Gore... This is a one man band which is project of Thanit (from Deathguy). She's Gore provides fast furious death grind. Crunchy guitarsound and savage vocals is what you can find here. some parts are into goregrind concept with constant blastbeats and demolishing grind assault. Don't leave these 3 monster slaughter songs! Thumbs up for these 4 most brutal bands from Thailand! Murderers!!! -Gee
