For two weeks i've been waiting for this promo that geert introduced to me. This is his self project, recorded last January 2005. A noise crust goregrind (its a far-out genre hehehe)..Guitar riffs are more into noisy stuff,not so heavy but distorted. The cans are well programmed, you never doubt that it is edited..Vocals are into some Lypmpathic Phlegm,progressive montser style growls!! Faster Than Satan - Self Titled
I am curios to this band because there are rumors that this band is tremendous. And they are famous in part of Luzon area I guess! So I find a way to get this cd. Faster than Satan plays raw and aggressive! Merging the death metal and thrash metal influences and they bring their songs extremely and brutal... The drums and the guitars are intense, enclosed by speed of double bass, tight grindings and several blast beats! And every song has a melodic parts! But one thing that I don't like inside this record is on the vocal part! the screams that it sounds near to black metal! And the other one is the normal voice that appears in track #9 and 10 if I'm not mistaken! Luzon has many extreme bands nowadays and I'm sure Faster Than Satan is one of them! Fetal Mutilation - Fetal Mutilated Recipe Demo
Cagayan brutal scene has matured and stronger through these years. Fetal Mutilation is probably one of the best bands in their area. FM plays mid-paced death metal with plenty of slamming parts from start to finish! It's really downtuned and heavy. But the bass are too high on the mixing process especially track 1 and 2 and the guitarsound are not really highlighted and it needs more distort... The vocals are quite deep but it lacks of diversity! I'm not sure due to the sound production is not really good; I can't hear the vocals clearly. So it's really hard for me to evaluate about the vocals! But I can still feel the intensity. Also there are some cool intros taken from porn movies. This demo is running 8:09 minutes of worth brutal slams! Get in touch with these guys! - Gee

From The Ashes - Mind Vortex
This Swedish band is fuckn' bulldozer! One of the fast and furious grindcore that I encounter. The grinding parts are powerful and aggressive with some mixture of crust. You will suffer the intensity of their music. Sometimes it is near to Nasum.(In my opinion!!!) They have a dual vocals, the growls and screams which are excellently delivered and it really fits to their music, great shifting from growls to screams... The guitar sound is well diverse and delivered, pretty raw and it is grindcore tuned! Got what I mean!? Hehehehe!!! From The Ashes is one of the astonishing grindcore nowadays! Horror Blast / Splattered Cavities - Split Cd
This wicked split was released by Thailand label Brute! Productions. The 1st band Is Horror Blast hailing from Brazil which give 7 tracks of furious deathgrind with a lot of old grind touches in the vein of Carcass especially the slow parts and mid tempos.. The soundproduction is totally raw and I think they recorded live in their rehearsal studio. But the music itself still intense! I hope the next release of these two sickfucks will have a good soundproduction and will be much sicker! The 2nd band Is Splattered Cavities provides 4 songs using hammering drumblastmachine that reminds me Torsofuck and Retch! This is absolutely bone breaking brutal death with gurgling vockills and heavy guitars... Definitely to be listened! Check these two monster bands and grab a copy from Thai label Brute! Japan Death Metal Is fuckn� rise nowadays! Infected Malignity is one of the finest bands that I know! This band really blew my mind!!! 3 tracks only inside in this demo. The song structures are quite excellent done, injected with cool heavy breakdowns and catchy slam grooves elements... The vocals are not varied but it really fits in their musical approach... Inhumate - Life
Here's the 4th album of one of the best pioneering grind band from France! Inhumate has got the great sound between grindcore and death metal concepts! and we already know that this band is capable doing raging grind sound all the time. The structure are straight forward and the extremity of the musick is comparable to their 3rd album "Growth". Also the sound production is almost same, and I think this is the recording process of Inhumate sound. Am I right!? Hehehe!!! The guitar riffs and drumbeats are quite fast filled with crusty tunes, numerous grindings and blastbeats that don't give you a time to breath! Also the grooves are pretty catchy and cool. The vocals are quite agressive, great shifting from high pitch to low pitch! There are no intros here, just pure brutal grinding insanity! This cd contains 16 tracks and also has a cd-rom bonus about the band, and 3 live videos taken from OBSCENE EXTREME FEST 2003 which is held in Czech Republic. This album is fuckn' rule! Aside from Viral Load, Shawn Whitaker also owns Insidious Decrepancy. Seemingly he is really a talented guywith inexplicable influences. Jasad - Annihilate the Enemy
Here's the 2nd full length of Indonesia's brutal death Jasad! This album is more intense compare to Witness of Perfect Torture, loaded by plenty of remorseless blastbeats and killer grooves. With an excellent sound production especially the guitar tone was heavy and tight drum kicks! This album reminds me early materials of Disgorge California, and a hint touch of Decrepit Birth. On the vocal part, Man executed his vocals very well, but for me, I prefer his vocals in Witness of Perfect Torture. This cd was released by US label Sevared Records. Grab it or die!!! - Gee
