2. Surgery is quite new in the scene and you have gained the respect of many. How easy/hard was this?
Cianan: Hah, it was pretty easy on my behalf man. Mike is our secretary.
Mike: It was fairly easy. People like good music!
3. Can you give us the history of the band, how it all started?
Cianan: Well, there really isn't much history involved. Two bros just got together to make some sick tunes!

4. I heard you guys will be doing a split with Ingutted. Who came up with this idea?
Cianan: I have no idea.
Mike: It was originally Snaw's (Ingutted) idea.
5. Underground Pollution Rec. will release your split with Ingutted, How did you get in contact with them?
Cianan: Don't ask me...
Mike: Again, it was all Snaw. That guy is the fucking shit!
6. How is Underground Pollution Rec. as a label?
Cianan: Well from the looks of it, it's awesome. Although it seems like they're looking for some shitty splits to release (Powerviolence, etc.). But hey, it's brutal since we're on it!!
Mike: Well we don't really know yet. But it seems cool.
8. I heard your songs on your Myspace page and it fucking blew me away specially your slams and inhuman deep gurgles. What are the predominant inlfuences on Surgery's music? Which bands are you listening to right now?
Cianan: First and foremost DEVOURMENT!! Other than that, some of my influences are 1). Offal Stench, 2). Inhuman Dissiliency, 3). Artery Eruption... you know, the bunch.
Mike: Thanks for the sick words. Alot of vocalists influence me. What have I been listening to lately? The new Artery Eruption, Dyscrasia, and good ol' Retch.
9. You guys are using a drum machine, have you completely given up the idea of having a real drummer?
Cianan: Hell no I haven't. There are no fucking brutal drummers in town! Hopefully in the near future we'll get a drummer.

10. "Maniacal Malpractice" will be out soon. What can we expect from it? It's gonna be sick as fuck for sure!

11. Where have you recorded it and how do you go about writing music?
Cianan: Hah, we record in my room... to be exact. Usually the way we come up with songs is Mike and I just jam for a couple hours, make some sick riffs, plant the drums, then record everything. As simple as that.

12. Mike, your vocals are guttural as fuck! Is there any particular vocalist that you look up to?
Mike: Yeah, there's two actually.. Ruben and Mike of Devourment.
13. You sickfucks are still quite young, what motivates you to come up with such sick brutal music?
Cianan: Day by day living bro, just about everything motivates me.

21. Judging from your titles such as "Vomit Encrusted Foreskin" , "Excruciating Cystorrhagia" , "Bowl Full of Bowels" and "Maniacal Malpractice", you guys are into gory stuffs... Does "gore" has something to do with Surgery's musick? Who writes the lyrics?
Mike: We don't use lyrics, but I come up with all of the song titles... and yes, it's all about the gore!
22. How would like to describe Surgery's musick in your own words?
Cianan: It's slam filled death.
