1. Hello! How are things goin bro's?
Hey there jamie, everythings pretty much steady here as of now.
2.What's the band current line up? Can you give some short biography?
The band was originally formed by former member Anwar (ex-drummer of the now dissolved Berserker 52) on [year early 2003] along with Dyas, Russel and Onads. After some time Anwar left the band and was then replaced by Pado (Cerberus/Diwata then) but due to some problems, Pado also had to leave the band so we brought in Tristan (DFTW) who had been blasting the skins for Diwata that time. Along came with him was Daryll (ex-Insalubroz Imp) -who weve known for shrieking the shit out off anyones ear- to add to the carnage. Dyam (Cerberus) later came into the picture when we were searching for another guitarist as Onads was just preparing to leave for the US then. And so we had a couple of gigs as a 6-piece until he left just last June, but composed/recorded 12 pieces of his scum grinding riffs before doing so to make it up for our upcoming 12-track demo cd. So the current line up would be Dyasten and Daryll on vocals, Russel on bass, Tristan on drums and Dyam on guitars..
3.You have recently done a split with Down From The Wound. Who came up with the idea of doing a split?
Randyl (DFTW) came up with the idea of doing so.
4.I heard you guys have a full lenght planned, can you tell us a bit about this? Any ideas for the song titles? Any possible album title? Will you tell us about it?
Yes, but were still short of our own original shit so itll be some time before we could do that. What were planning to do for now though, as ive said earlier, is to release this 12-track demo cd some time this year. So watch out for that. Maybe itll be about some guy named Pitsburg showing off his anus on the net. hehe. Were still working on it.
5.Why you chose Dissimulate as band's name? Do you think it fits well into your musick style?
Anwar chose the name and were still not sure why he did. We havent really thought about what it really meant until it was already too late to change it so we decided to just go with the name. Though we think he got it from this The Berzerkers album, Dissimulate. As he was with his original band Berserker 52 then.
6.How would you describe Dissimulate's musick?
We pretty much let our side of grind/crust influences out on this one as much as possible. Or you could try cutting the fleshy part of an old womans wrinkled ass and put it on a blender along with loads of phlegm of some tuberculosis infected guy and turn it on while grinding a fag's anus with a heavy duty drill. haha. I guess thats one way to describe it, hehe.
7.More aggressive, violent, dirty, fast are some words that simply associates with grindcore, personally why you chose this genre?
Its all of Anwar's fault! haha. Most of the bands here then were already death metal or into the hardcore stuff so we just thought of doing a grind one..
8. Who writes lyrics in the band? How much time you spend to write a song? What are your influences in song writing?
Dyas and Daryll does most of the lyrics but we contribute some once in awhile. Most of it are usually about killing and torturing or gorestuff like that. Heavily influenced by alcohol, of course. hehe
9. Is the band time consuming for you? I assume you go to school, jobs etc...
It isnt really that time consuming. But yes some of us are in school but most of us are not. And we still dont have that much of a serious job as it is hard to find one that would accept us with our long hair because most of the establishments here are run by military faggot minded fucks who think theyr still on world war 2 so they think were incapable of doing shit with the hair. So most of the time we just hang out or drink and talk about the band and what to do next.
10. What's the scene like in Olongapo? For Grindcore? Death metal?
The way we see things now, its all going well for everyone. There would be gigs happening regularly, zines are coming out, but most importantly, bands are recording/releasing their stuffs so to be heard not just here but outside of 'Gapo also, which in turn gets them invited to play some place else and so on.
11. Do you like porno movies? hehehe!!! Any celebrity you want to bone? Can you mention some names.. hehehe!!!
All i know is we just gave you this pornfull of cd the last gig we were on. Yer even trading with us our videos of Patricia! aha! There are lots of celebrities we want to drill but what catches most of our attention are those commercial models on shampoos and stuff. haha. Now dont worry about Patricia man, well have it ready next gig. hehe
12. What can we expect from you guys in the near future?
