This year Washington Avenue School will focus on five specific character traits:

CITIZENSHIP

RESPECT

HONESTY/TRUSTWORTHINESS

RESPONSIBILITY

FAIRNESS/SPORTSMANSHIP

Each trait will be focused on for two months. The units will end in a school-wide assembly. We will do various activities to gain an understanding of what each trait means. We will use songs, role playing, poetry, short plays, readers theatre, murals, and posters.
