The Muses

When the muses inspire, the pen never tires.
A thought driven by desire will spread faster than fire.
Burning and burning until ideas explode,
One cannot contain the flow, and it becomes insane.
The rampage of breakthroughs trample the brain, and
Leave it in pain for all to see.

Overwhelming agony destroys the thought process.
Then what seemed to be a promise broken by the muses
Is really just a break. Take what you can from the hurricane and
Run with it. Some of the best ideas will pass. These superior
Ideas will be forgotten in mass, but the muses will
Pick up their pieces because they never fail.
