A Life Or Death Situation
Isn't it strange how we squirm at death
We can enjoy life but not face its consequences
Accept that as part of nature, an inevitability
So live the life that you choose
And don't blame others for your failure
Be responsible, bite the bullet,
But don't eat it.
What comes after life, you say?
I don't care; why don't you go find out?
Maybe there's nothing
In that case I don't look forward to it
You'll be missing out on life's infinite possibilities
For your finite death.
You can't even think when you're dead
So I'll be having the last laugh.
