Punyaham Incident - Other Opinions

We have received many letters supporting our view which is the same as the view expressed in various newspapers including Mathrubhumi Editorial.

We have also received some dissenting views where the readers do support thantri's stand. Here is one of them:

Dear friends,

I looking forward of the “Punyaham” problem, in my sight this is not a problem
and Thandri’s stand was correct , because you know about pula,valayama etc.
Kalyanam is one kind of valayama and another thing is prasavam.
This things are occurred in person who is not entered in chuttambalam. In
Ravikrishna’s case valayama not “Aitham” the political peoples doubling this
problem. No one has enter in the “Nalamabalam” after mariege even
Nambootheries also. This is a acharam not Aitham. I am also SNDP Youth movement President at Edacochin Br. Now Youth Movement state Secretary Mr.B.Sreekumar and Mr.Thushar both leading a vahana jatha I can’t support in this matter.

SNDP is known a hindu label but in the billows any person who belive in
Gurudevan who remitt enterance fee and subscription he is a member of SNDP but
he is not Ezhava. How belive Mangalapathram of SNDP. First up on ours rule
rectify not in others.
