SNDP Yogam Center Attacked in Nattakam

The following report from Deepika (29th April 2001) shows that anti-social elements are still active against Guru's followers. Not surprisingly leaders from all politicial parties have come forward with statements. On the other hand how do we handle this? The news says that all shops were closed and even provate buses did not run. This of course is the standard and only way of protest available in Kerala. But it is worthless and anti-social in itself. Guru would not have appreciated 'not working' and 'not allowing people to travel' as a way of protesting against anti-social elements. It's time SNDP Yogam and followers depart from the standard and worthless methods of our rotten political parties (who in fact are responsible for the current debacle of the system).

On the other hand, just days before the election some are able to do such a thing shows that the Yogam is ineffective in stopping such crimes or at least finding the people behind this barbarian acts.
