A drunk pleads for money for drinks and is thrown out of the saloon. At Warrens City, Meryl and Milly continue their search for Vash. Milly spots Vash and greets him. The drunk runs into Vash and cons Vash into paying for a drink. The drunk tells the bar lady that Vash is the son of a millionaire and Vash hands his gun over to the barkeep. Vash asks the drunk about Frank Marlon, the town hero who saved the town from bandits with his homemade guns. The drunk tells him he'd be a fool to give his gun to a complete stranger and Vash pours him a drink. Meryl discovers that there is no sheriff in town and warns one of the townspeople that Vash might be in town. A gang of men plan to rob the Warrens City bank and blame it on Vash. Vash and Frank (the drunk) are thrown out of the saloon. Meryl and Milly show up looking for Vash. Vash and Frank stumble off to Frank's house. Frank falls asleep and Vash covers him up. When Frank wakes, he finds Vash's gun. The bank is robbed by a fake Vash. Meryl and Milly try to talk to him, but he won't listen to them. Vash and Frank consider countermeasures to stop the robbery. Frank says to leave them alone, but Vash goes to stop them because the 'situation is not equal'. Vash uses a blade from his boot to give the robbers car a flat tire and dodges their bullets using a trash can lid. Vash threatens to shoot them with a gun in his pocket. (It's really his finger.) The barkeeper pulls out a Frank Marlon gun to stop the robbers. The rest of the townspeople do the same to defend their town. Frank holds up the fake Vash with his finger. The townspeople celebrate. Frank gives Vash back his repaired gun and offers to fix it again for free. Vash throws up before he can give Frank his name. Meryl and Milly follow Vash.
