Ami Mizuno, also known as Sailor Mercury, is undoubtedly the smartest scout. With an IQ of 300, she is labeled a genius. She was the Princess of Mercury during the Silver Millennium. She is also one of the eight guardians of Princess Serenity. She belongs to the Inner Scouts. She was the second senshi to be found. She strives to be the smartest person at her school. She wants to become a pediatrician like her mother. She also has a boyfriend, Greg. Ami's father is a painter. Her parents are separated. She transferred to Juuban Junior High from another school. Mercury's attacks all deal with water. Shabbon Spray creates fog. Shabbon Spray Freezing freezes an opponent with bubbles. Shine Aqua Illusion freezes opponents with ice crystals. Mercury Aqua Rhapsody is her final, strongest attack. In the manga she uses the attack Shine Snow Illusion. She also has a mini-computer which is used for analysis and tracking, as well as her visor which does the same. In the 1st season she transforms with "Mercury power, make up." In the R season she uses "Mercury star power, make up." For her Super henshi, she uses "Mercury crystal power, make up." One of the specials, Ami-chan's First Love and most of the musicals are about her.
