Ranma evades Kuno's strikes as he gathers pictures of his female-form from mid-air. Kuno comments that Ranma isn't taking him seriously if he looks elsewhere in the middle of the battle. Ranma rolls away and land in front of Akane. Akane tells Ranma that when Kuno battles a male opponent, he's very skilled. Ranma tells Akane that blue panties don't suit her, and she kicks him away. Ranma sumersault back to where Kuno is and Kuno attacks with multiple strikes. Ranma dodges and the air pressure from the attack shatters the stone next to Akane. Ranma yells at Akane to move as Kuno attacks again, and Akane tells Ranma to keep his eyes in front of him. Ranma passes his leg in front of Kuno who stands still for a second before falling over. Nabiki asks how Ranma defeated Kuno and Akane noticed that each of Ranma's blows hit a vulnerable spot. Nabiki comments that she never saw Ranma kick Kuno. Ranma comments that "upperclassman" Kuno wasn't a very tough opponent. Akane points out that Ranma took a hit as well. Ranma replies that it doesn't even itch, but curls up crying when Akane pokes it. Akane asks what distracted Ranma during the fight and he shows her the picture of them he gathered from Kuno. Nabiki comments that it was just a little money on the side and Akane yells at her. Ranma says that he doesn't know why anyone would want pictures of a dorky girl anyways, remarking that he doesn't know how she'll never find a husband unlike his female-form. Akane hits him repeatedly.
Akane takes Ranma to Dr. Tofu who comments that Ranma's wounds are astounding. The sword wound is nothing compared to the other dislocations and contusions. He asks Akane what kind of thug did this. Ranma begins to speak and Akane dumps him off the bed when he says a dorky girl did it to him. She drops the bed as Dr. Tofu looks at her and asks her if she did it. Akane acts sweet and innocent before Dr. Tofu comments that he had thought so from the way Ranma's arm-joint was twisted backwards. He snaps Ranma's bones back in place while commenting that he'd heard Ranma was Akane's fiancee. Akane protests that their parents decided and Dr. Tofu comments that it's a little early considering they're still children. Ranma yells at Dr. Tofu saying that it hurts and Dr. Tofu asks him where still hurts. Ranma is surprised that nothing hurts anymore and Akane comments that Ranma's a great doctor.
As they're about to leave, Dr. Tofu tells Ranma to try and get along with Akane whether or not he's her fiancee. Ranma comments that it's not like he starts the fights, Akane just overreacts to everything. Dr. Tofu says that Akane's a sweet girl to which Ranma responds with surprise. He tells Ranma that he'll understand soon enough and pats Ranma on the back as he leaves. Akane asks Ranma what he was talking to Dr. Tofu about but Ranma shrugs the question off, responding that it was nothing. He tells Akane that Dr. Tofu was sympathising with him for having to deal with a crazed, violent lunatic like her. He prepares to fight her, but she just walks away. Ranma catches up to her, telling her it was just a joke and calling her a sissy. Akane asks if he's looking for a fight to which Ranma sticks out his tounge, saying that that's the Akane he's used to. She swings at him as Dr. Tofu counts down, and Ranma falls over. His legs stopped working, and Ranma thinks that Dr. Tofu did something to his hips when he patted Ranma on the back. Akane prepares to carry him, but Ranma protests saying that it would be humiliating for a man to be carried piggyback by a girl. Akane changes him into a girl and carries him home.
