Tsukushi is the main character of Hana Yori Dango. Although quiet at first, Tsukushi is strong and spirited. She stops the F4 from picking on another student and earns a red tag, the mark of war from the F4 and a signal for all the students to prank her. She avoids the pranks as best she can, and wages her own war against the F4. She gives as good as she gets, earning Doumyouji's love as she reminds him of his sister. However, she's in love with Hanazawa Rui, although he doesn't return her love at first. She eventually begins to like Doumyouji in return. Tsukushi works at a dango shop with her friend Yuki.
