Hitomi was just a normal High School student, besides the fortune telling ability. Or at least she was, until she got chased by a dragon in the middle of a race and swept off to Gaea with a weird guy with a sword. Not that this should have surprised her any considering she had foreseen it in her dreams. Anyways, once on Gaea she gets wrapped up in the politics of Fanelia and the war against Dornkirk. On Gaea her visions become more and more horrifying. However, her psychic powers also help her save her friends on more than one occasion. Her love life is caught up in deciding who she likes more: the captain of the track team on Earth, Amano, the king of Fanelia, Van Fanel, and a gallant swordsman, Allen Schezal. Towards the end of the series she finally chooses Van as the guy she wants to be with, but their relationship has a few problems before the end of the show. She's a good runner and can accurately predict the future using her tarot cards, visions, or pendant.
