26) ITHACA M37 "SAWED OFF" by KTW HOP UP 2 X 46 Round Magazines Pump Action 1 or 2 pellet select Multi Pump Feature
The M37 ITHACA "Sawed Off" is pretty much identical to the MASTERKEY shotgun for fitting underneath M16's. Much of it's construction is plastic. Although the trigger and guard are metal along with the pump's slide tube. The wood furniture is actualy plastic, but looks fine. It is not too light (1kg) and handles brilliantly. It has a switch allowing the user to select 1 or 2 pellets per pump. The MULTI PUMP switch allows the shotgun to be loaded with more pellets. (ie. 2 pumps set to 2, would result in 4 pellets being fired at once.)
The M37 only has 1 barrel with fixed HOP. This works well with 0.20g pellets, allowing the gun to reach out to 40m on single shot. With 2 pellets, it's performance is still good and effective at 20m, while on 4 shot, it proved accurate at 10m. Even on 6 shot, it's good at this kind of range. This is an economy spring shotgun, perhaps not upto the standard of MARUI's efforts but it's far cheaper and holds more rounds. Indeed it comes with 2 mags, which is a bonus. Chronographed at 300fps (on single shot), it's not bad for it's size. PHANTOM will use this gun for several roles: firstly he bought it for the SPRING/GAS GAMES. It also rolls up nicely in his poncho roll (inside his bivie bag) so could well be a back up on 24 hour games. The only thing left for this gun to prove, is it's durability............ so far it's proven great for URBAN entry work, as it's great for snap shooting and diving around with. With a sling fitted, it can be carried on your back easily (unlike an AEG). Making a good back-up...
