I moved off and searched the 2 man tent nearby. Team 2s defensive TAG ZONE was placed here between the bunkers. The tent was empty, but 2 bergens were neatly stacked outside. I pulled the Bergen tag off both (Hudson and Spunkmeyer from R.A.T.) and put them in my pocket. Heading back to Razers bunker, I grabbed his bergen tag and after cutting my hands, managed to get it off.Dashing upto the top bunker, I could see it had a basha over it. Peering inside, it was empty and I identified the owner of the kit as Chopper. Looking around his kit quickly, I could not locate his bergen tag and gave up presuming he had hidden it nearby, as Chopper can be sneaky. In fact, his Bergen Tag was on the radio pack that I moved! Thinking of the bigger picture, I figured that there was a good chance the FLAG (worth 10 points) would be in the top corner of the land (as it had to be at least 75m away from the TAG ZONE.) Turning and setting off, I was suprised to be shot in the back. Looking round, RAZER was grinning at me from the TAG ZONE. I laughed before setting off back at a jog towards the TAG ZONE. When I arrived a minute later, I decided to look for an ambush before approaching the box. Looking uphill onto the ridgeline, I could see 2 silhouettes that I identified as UE players, moving into firing positions. Shouting them a good moring, I decided that I could not rejoin the game without a gun, so changed my destination back to camp.

Nearing the river, he switched me back on, by signalling for me to be flanking right and that I should have done so already. I covered the ground quick and feeling safe from the right, concentrated on the bottleneck in the corner of the field. Seeing no-one, I signalled OK and Wraith moved into the bottleneck and then moved up quick to cover the most likely place for an ambush. Wraith said he wanted to dump his bag, so I indicated for him to put it down in a recess in the large gorse bush, while I covered. Turns out RAZER was laid in the gorse only 1m away from where Wraith stashed his ruck sack. yet could not move without giving himself away and could see, he was being covered by me.

Once there, I sat down and sorted myself out (changed clothing and ate breakfast.) Indeed I was pretty knackered, after only 3 hours sleep and very hungry aswell. Hearing a noise nearby, I stated loudly that "We are all TAGGED already" and that our opponents might aswell come out. Ghostshell and Chopper came over and said they wanted the Bergen Tags back, but I informed them that they can only be captured off the owners equipment (ie. once). After a bit of banter, they set off and I moved down to the river to wash up. Once back at the camp, I grabbed my CAR15 and dumped 1 of my 190 mags, fitting my fully loaded 1000 round drum instead. A smile came over my face and I prepared to rejoin the game. Mantis and Spectre were still both in their beds so I informed them to avoid the TAG ZONE near the Pillbox. Spectre told me that Wraith had rung him on his mobile and was now on our radio channel and entering the site soon. Moving off to our Defensive TAG ZONE, I had a good look around before signing the book and closing the box. Checking again for an ambush, I declared Back in! and moved off at pace into cover. Satan informed me that he was ready to rejoin the game and I responded on the radio; telling him to stay in the SAFE ZONE. Indeed, I suspected Team 2 would ambush our guys as they left in the morning. Espescially if they had intercepted that radio transmission. Heading to Team REDs sentry position yesterday, I raised Wraith on the radio. Within 2 minutes we had met up and shook hands. I informed him of the situation in brief and told him that we were heading to the the SAFE ZONE to RV with Satan. I also explained that he was fresher than me and should go on point. He had all his kit in a small rucksack, so he gave me a green rod bag to carry, containing his ghillie suit; inorder to share the load. We set off along the treeline, making not a single sound, it was just like old times. Approaching the lower trenches, Wraith signalled a contact moving our way. We both got down into cover and waited. After 30 seconds SPECTRE came walking through (on his way to the TAG ZONE) and we all waved covertly. Now we decided it was clear, I signalled Wraith to move down the edge of the field rather than through the trees. He moved off and after 30m got down as he had heard something. Moving upto him, I informed him that Mantis was inside our Basha 20m away and that the noise was him, cleaning his pan. I also explained that I suspected an ambush around the exit of the Safe Zone. He agreed and we set off carefully.

Wraith then pulled back and crouched in cover nearby. I waited until he was in position before moving forward to the edge of the Safe Zone. Once I felt confident that it was clear, I radioed Satan and told him to leave via the eastern exit immediatly and meet me there. After 10 seconds he approached and we RVd wasting no time at this vulnerable stage we withdrew past Wraith, who covered the rear. I covered the Bottleneck until Satan was through and then we set off across the field, Wraith staying to cover the bottleneck for another 20 seconds. Then we were gone and across the next field. Spectre radioed me to confirm he was now back in the game, we agreed to RV at the Flag. RAZER had held his fire thinking that we were picking up more than 1 player and intended to shoot at some of the tail elements of a longer patrol. Before he knew it, we had gone.
