HUNTING LEE
The Black Knight
1997
Lee accepted the challenge:
He would take on 5 players, all by himself!

He settled down on the ridge. Laying prone behind a stand of saplings. He didnt have good cover, but with his Ghillie Suit, he had great concealment. He found a position where he could only see 25m to the West. This was not his normal style, but he decided to be unpredictable. His opponents knew that he liked the low ground, best on that  site.

He checked his M653 CARBINE and selected semi auto. He knew the HUNTERS would be coming from that direction and decided it was essential that he HIT at least 1, on the initial Ambush.

After 5 minutes, he heard movement to his left, in the dead ground. Heart racing, he kept still and remained focussed on his Telescopic sight. Moving cautiously, a HUNTER stalked into his sights, his MP5K held at the ready. He was only 15m away. Lee knew that he had not been seen. His finger started to take up the slack on the trigger.
Lee's Solo Sniping
BANG!

The Hunter was startled and dived behind a tree. Lee cursed his luck, realising that his magazine had jammed and that the shot had been dry! Tapping his magazine, Lee levelled the cross hair on the only part of his opponent that he could now see: his boot.

BANG! Hit!

Lee didnt hang about and sprang up from his position. Break contact thought Lee. Sprinting to the EAST, he ran through a BOG. As he ran, he heard a burst of pellets, cutting the air behind him. He glanced round and saw a HUNTER to his right; firing his MP5A5 on auto. Keep going thought Lee as his little legs pumped up and down through the thick mud. Clearing the bog, he motored on, up an incline. Moving another 30m, he turned and saw 2 HUNTERS on his tail. He acquired them in his sights. They were moving fast towards him, crossing the bog. Preoccupied, they didnt seem to notice that they were now in the open! Lee fired a 10 shots on semi.

HIT yelled one. Then the other was HIT too.

Keep moving thought Lee. He turned and moved off to the East again. Moving another 30m, he reached a low crestline. Using the dead ground as cover, he circled south and dived prone next to a small bush. He covered the ground, that he had just moved across. His heart was pumping and his cross hair swayed up and down. Keep still.

After 30 seconds, he spotted the 2 remaining HUNTERS, moving from tree to tree. They were covering each other and concentrating on the position Lee had last fired from. Hold your fire! Lee reminded himself. The HUNTERS moved more cautiously now and Lee could see one checking the ridge with his scoped XM. Hold your fire!

Creeping to a tree 40m away, a HUNTER stopped to scan the ridge again. Nows the best chance, that Im going to get. decided Lee.

BANG! BANG! BANG! Hit cried the HUNTER.

Nows the time to attack, decided Lee. Theres only 1 left. Springing up from his position, he charged forward. He headed for the tree that his opponent had just been tagged at. His last opponent was somewhere past it. Lee knew he had a VIETNAM VERSION M16A1. 5m from the tree, he spotted the last HUNTER, laid prone 30m away. Firing on the move, Lee put down 3 shots.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Lee reached the tree, with no return fire.

HIT! yelled the last HUNTER. Somehow Lee had got him!

GAMEOVER but Lee was still on an adrenaline High for some time after........
