| HARDCORE 24 Hour Game |
| Both Teams withdrew to their camps and cooked while they positioned sentries to warn of attack. Some players rested while others patrolled the perimeter. Evening drew on and the light began to fade. Night game rules kicked in at 9pm. Making all head shots count and full auto banned. Both teams knew there would be a CEASE FIRE from midnight to 6am. APOC and Lonepig moved uphill from the Gorse Bushes to set up their bivie, between sniper point and the stone bunkers. |
| CHARLIE decided to send out a small raiding party, with Stinger, Razer and Chopper heading off along the top fenceline. Chopper had his M1 while Stinger used his M4. Moving downhill towards the trees near the Stone Bunkers, they peered into the half light. Lonepig, signalled APOC that there was movement uphill. APOC sat up on the tree stump and got his bipod out, scoping the 2 dark patches to his front. Figuring they were not players, he was suprised when they suddenly sprung up and charged forward, firing as they went. APOC let rip Tagging Stinger and Razer straight away but getting tagged himself in the exchange. Chopper had been the last man and now circled in for a closer look. lonePig ambushed him with his APS but his rounds dropped short. Chopper fired on semi, Tagging lonepig. The Bushpigs ran off towards their offensive tagzone. So CHARLIE backed off and Chopper informed PAXO (on top treeline) of the situation. There was no further contact.. |

| Things were getting tense now as the night was so still and calm. The MARSHALS radioed in at 11pm informing both teams there was a NIGHT NAV available. Upto 5 points could be won on the TASK. ALPHA refused the Task and sent out a call that all ALPHA who wanted to attack should form up at Sniper point ASAP. After a while they had SPECTRE, WRAITH, TANK, NAPOLEON, LONEPIG and APOC ready to move in. Only MANTIS would sit back, in his bivie below the gorse. CHARLIE did accept the Task, sending Chopper and Striker out along the top fenceline. |
| Spotting 4 players moving across the open, they abandoned the night nav and radioed to base that an attack was inbound. Spectre and Wraith moved in fron on point taking the attack along the top fenceline and through the ferns. Chopper and Striker sat in ambush, hearing noises only meters away, they held their fire. Paxo was sat in his bivie with RAZER in his bivie bag. Paxo realised there was someone moving nearby, he sat still. razer slowly tried to wriggle out of his bivie bag. Spectre and Wraith decided the noise was just an animal and kept going. Paxo was just squeezing the trigger, when a laser shone from his right, moving slowly across his body, then across Razer, who sat petrified. Paxo waited and when he saw 2 figures through the tree 3m away he let rip on semi, hitting APOC and NAPOLEON! Chopper and Striker heard the frenzy and moved in lighting a pyro near the fenceline. The pyro gave out a bright pulsing light and loads of smoke, causing a massive distraction. Spectre and Wraith realised they were behind the lines with firing going on all around them. Unsure where the flag was, they sat in ambush near the TAG ZONE, hoping to follow someone. |
