The Tournament had ended after 2 intense days of action packed gaming. All 3 teams had played well and were feeling the effects of the 80 degree heat and humidity.

The MARSHALS retired to their command bunker and counted up all the available points. Meanwhile everyone else took 5.....

A special thankyou to all involved and MARSHALS. Espescially S6 who had travelled so far to take part. SCOTT sent me a kind  report of their visit. Please read his kind words below:
PHANTOM endures marshalling!
After a long and arduous trek down to Scarborough (5+ hours from Edinburgh) we arrived at SAC in the middle of the night and pitched tent on the first bit of grass that we found.

Come the morning, we made our way to the safe zone and were given a hearty welcome by the regulars.

The weekend's play that followed was demanding, to say the least. This was partly due to the nature of the terrain (very vertical) and partly to the nature of play, which requires camping, fieldcraft and navigation skills  in addition to those usually required for 'softing. (the rather brutal weather didn't help either)

30 hours later we were shattered and packing up our kit. The weekend had left me with two strong impressions:
The organisation of the marshalls - Players were provided with laminated maps, pens, wipes, etc and the marshalls were always at the end of the radio to help us. Missions were always available and the weekend's play went without a hitch
The level of play of the regulars - both in terms of competence and sportsmanship the regulars really are an outstanding bunch.

Playing at SAC is a very different experience to more conventional skirmishing and may not be to everyone's taste but I would recommend trying it. Even if the play is not quite your cut of tea, the people there make it a worthwhile experience - we certainly hope to see more of them soon.
