George and Scott met each other through their blogs. They talked for about 6 months online, and ended up meeting up to catch a movie. Their friendship quickly blossomed into romance and a few months later there was a proposal. It wasn't any normal proposal though, it was a dual proposal. Scott proposed over a candle lit dinner, and the next day, George proposed to Scott in the rose gardens of KC's Loose Park.

George went shopping for Scott's ring at Tiffany's, but they didn't have the ring he wanted in Scott's size, so he had to order it. The very next day Scott went into Tiffany's and bought the exact ring but in George's size. So they were both doing the same thing and were completely oblivious to it. The same shop girl helped both of them and knew exactly what was going on.

It's a great story.
