An Engineer Division (Gur-Di-Pin), Marine Brigade (Gur-Di-Pin), and a
Black Legion Unit (Tyoga) have fled from their original coastal base,
due to a Class 5 hurricane. They have setup camp on the edge of a small
river (about 200 meters wide). The begining situation is pictured below.
Day One, dusk

During the dawn the natives were able to push back the Western Outpost
forces, so that the only part that was held was the little hill at the
south of the outpost. Before the attack their were three Engineer
platoons (Gur-Di-Pin), one Marine platoon (Gur-Di-Pin), and one Black
Legion unit (Tyogan). The Engineers at the north fled almost
immediately after the attack began, and the Black Legion troops moved
up from the reserves to replace them. But they were unable to hold the
line, since they were spread too thin. However, they did effectively
prevent the natives from taking over the entire outpost.
During the day Tyogan Fast Attack Boats came with more supplies, mainly
105mm artiallry shells, but also some food and small arms weapons. A
Tyogan Regular Army platoon also arrives, and unloads behind the new
enemy lines. Immediately after they were unloaded, the counter-attack
began. M119s opened up and layed down a screen of artillary fire for
the Marines and Tyogans, and they charged, with the M119 fire creeping
forward so that "friendly fire" wouldn't ensue. However, halfway
through the attack, the natives launched a major attack from the wast,
and it required the complete attention of the Artillary Battalion.
After the M119s got started on the eastern defense, the native attack
was halted. The Marines and Tyogans in the west, though, had to fight
their way through the natives without any support. They were able to
push farther out despite that handicap, until the natives were able to
reorganize and counter-attack, at which point, the attack halted.
Immediately after the attack had been halted, another reinforced Tyogan
company arrived. The situation at dusk of day two is pictured below.
