I recently visited Hoggenekkal, a beautiful tourist place in Tamil Nadu. It is around 170 Kms. from Bangalore. The main attraction are the numerous huge water-falls and a special boat ride in a circular Boat. The place is not very commercialised but attracts decent crowd. The localites prepare delicious fish but unfortunately I'm a vegetarian.
