It was a hot day in New Oregon. Everyone was indoors, trying to hide from the heat. However, one individual decided to lurk outside, this person was Knives. He hid in the bushes outside of the bar where his target was. He was in the bushes, waiting for his prey to emerge. Serpent Zero was inside of that bar, smoking and drinking as usual. He finished his drink then decided to go outside to look for bounties. Once outside, he dumped his ashes on the ground. Before the could flutter out, Knives leaped out of the bushes and ambushed Serpent. Knives shot is colt at Serpent, but the boutny hunter quickly ran out of the way. This time, Serpent drew his katana, ready for battle. Knives shot with percision once again, but missed his target. Instead, he ran up and wacked Serpent with his pistol. Serpent then fell to the ground. Once he got up, he spit a bloody tooth out of his mouth. He charged towards knives with his katana, but instead of slashing at him, he shot at Knives with his shotgun. The bullets missed his head but some hit Knives' leg. Knives could barely walk even though he was a machine, Serpent grinned with satisfaction. Taking this oppurtunity, Knives revealed his four coat guns and blindly shot at Serpent. He hit him twice in the side, shattering some bones. Responding to the bullets, Serpent drew his Katana and slashed at Knives' arm. They both leaped back from each other to gain more ground. The two fighters were both exaughsted and they had one more attack in them. Unfortuently for the both of them, a typhoon had started up and it would soon arrive at their battle site. They both knew fighting woulld be hopeless so they ran as fast as they could, but the typhoon swallowed both of them and spit them out in different directions.
