On this page I'm going to post pic's of my Parrots and my Sister in Law's. These fish are pretty peaceful and love getting lots of attention. There isn't too much info out there on the Blood Parrot. It's also not nice the way these sweet fish are treated. Lots of people think they are freaks that just need to be done away with. But wouldn't that just be inhumane?
They didn't ask to be made. Yes these beauties are man made. They are crossed with the Red Devil and the Gold Severum. They are a pretty hardy fish and very rarely get sick. The only sickness that we have noticed so far has been the white spot and the black spot. Both were cleared up quickly with medication.
When I get more info on these lovely beauties it will be added. |

We have found that the Sweetheart parrots are very aggressive even towords their own kind. We have taken ours back to our local pet store. Here's the address for our LPS.

There are people out there that have the Sweetheart Parrots and they are peaceful in there tanks. Maybe we just got the meanies, or very lonely ones. LOL! They behaved themselves after they were back in the pet store. LOL! The little buggers. 80) |
