| A 16 year old Coordinator who was on the Heliopolis satellite when it was attacked by ZAFT forces who were attempting to steal the 5 GUNDAMs manufactured there. Due to a string of bad luck, he became the pilot of one of the last GUNDAMs remained unsteal, it's the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam. He was then bought into the Archangel. Due to his identity as a Coordinator, he was hated by everyone onboard the ship full of Naturals. His opponents in the battlefield includes his best friend Athrun Zara. Through battles after battles, Kira's fighting skill improved and became the ultimate fighting machine for the Earth Alliance's Archangel. Apparently, their hatred towards each other ended after both sides killed their teammates. Unfortunately, Both Kira's & Athrun's MS are heavily damaged after that. Kira later got his new MS, ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam by the help of Lacus Clyne. At the same time, Athrun got his new MS, ZGMF-Z09A Justice Gundam with a mission to bring back the stolen Freedom Gundam or gun down the MS together with the pilot. When Athrun & Kira found out that both of them are alive, they quickly put away their differences and hatred and combined forces to tried to end the war. |
