Just to tell you all. I did not wrote this story.
As the weeks goes by, everyone was beginning to get tired of school and was wishing for summer to come. Even though the school year was long no one seems to be paying much attention to it. We were all still acting like it was summer and didn�t get our act together till winter starts. The teachers gave us continuous homework assignments but no one seems to put much effort into them and just copy off each other. We were more worried about what we were going to do after school and on the weekends. We slacked off so much that we failed a lot of the testes because we never really pay attention in class.
For one of us, the main reason for the failing grades was because he was distracted by an untamed beauty. Jimmy was falling behind the class more than the rest of us. He sometimes doesn�t even show for class wondering around the hall looking for what class that girl was in. This gone on for some time and we began to worry that something was wrong. We asked him if anything was wrong and he said no so we left it alone, but it still continued on. We didn�t know what was wrong with him. We were starting to think that he was suicidal. We then asked him why he was acting like this. He finally told us that he saw an angel walking in the hall as he was passing by one day and he is still trying to find that angel again. He told us that her name was Joanne and from that we decided to help him search for his lost angel.
While we were still searching around, Du and I noticed a quiet, shy girl in our English class. It seems that we had never notice her before since she always keep to herself and was always very quiet. When we glaze at her, Du and I had a warm feeling in our body. With the first glaze this girl was beautiful and yet she kept to herself. We went up to her and started a conversation. After talking for quite a while we found out her name was Amy. She was very lonely because she got no friends and no one talks to her. Du and I became her friends and then a thought popped into my mind. I thought that this could be the angel that Jimmy was looking for, but after thinking again I remember that Jimmy told me that her name was Joanne and this girl name was Amy. I was relieved for a second. Then I thought again that how Jimmy could find out her name when he only met her walking in the hall. He could have mistaken her name. With this last thought I feared the worst. I knew that I was beginning to like this girl but then if it turns out to be the girl that Jimmy likes then I don�t know what I will do.
Thoughts after thoughts went through my mind but then I decided that if this was truly the girl Jimmy saw, then I should tell him because it would only the right thing to do. I then told Du what I was thinking and I was surprised at his reaction. He was very angry and said, �No, this is not the girl Jimmy is looking for and besides even if it is I wouldn�t tell him. I kind of like this girl myself so I think I should have a shot at her too.� I reply by saying. �Well if you truly like her, then you should tell Jimmy about her so if she turns out to be the one, you guys can fight for her and then let her decide who she wants to be with.� After a long discussion, I finally got Du to agree and then we walked over to tell Jimmy about Amy. His response to this was that he already found the girl that he was looking for and that Amy is not the one. Du and I was relieved and happy both for Jimmy and for the fact that Amy is still open. I then realize that I have competition for Amy because I now know that Du also likes her.
As the week slowly pass by Du and I compete to talking with Amy and spending time with her. She was very happy that were spending so much time with her, it made her feel special. As Du and I begin to like Amy more and more, our friendship seems to be decreasing by the second. Our friends begin to wonder what is going between us. While they were wondering and Du and I was fighting each other, Jimmy made his move on Joanne. One day he took her to watch a movie that was very boring. He planned this movie on purpose so that he could ask her out. Joanne has no idea that this was all planned and thought that he just picked the wrong movie. Toward the end of the movie Jimmy decided to ask Joanne. He said, �Joanne, even though we don�t know each other for a long time, I know that I have feelings for you. Will you go out with me?� �But we don�t know each other very well.� �Please give me the chance to know you better then anyone has ever known you. Will you go out with me?� �Well if that�s the case then my answer is yes.� We all found out the good news later and was happy for them.
As Du and I saw Jimmy and Joanne together we were very eager to get Amy. We like this girl so much that our friendship with each other is to the point that it is no long there. Everyone was very worried about us. They told us that it is not worth to fight over one girl but they don�t understand. This was more then Amy, this was to find out who could get Amy to like that person first. It then suddenly hit me. This was just like what happened to me and Sam. We hated each other so much and it was all over one girl. It turns out we ended up fighting each other forgot about the girl. It was also because of this that Sam and I became enemies for a while. I didn�t want history to repeat itself so then I think to myself what I should do. At that time I knew what I must do. I begin to think that Amy and I had very little in common. She is very quiet and shy while I am talkative and loud. I know that she and I wouldn�t work out while on the other hand she and Du have a lot in common. I then decided to throw in the towel and save our friendship. Du was happy to hear this and he said that if I ever need him to do anything, he would do it.
Du then went into action fast. He took Amy everywhere. Amy seems to be very happy hanging out with him but as they were getting closer he seems to be running out of ideas on what to do. He then came to me and asked for my help. I told him to take her some place really special and ask her there. After thinking a really long time, I told him to take her apple picking. To make sure that I will be around to help Du when he needs me and to make Amy feel like it was an ordinary thing, the whole group went apply picking as well. Jimmy took Joanne along, even though few of us knew her, just to make it more ordinary. As the time pass by Du finally decided it was time to ask Amy. I then took everyone to the other side to pick apples. Du and Amy was by themselves. As Amy was climbing the tree to get some apples at the top Du popped the question. He said, �Amy, you and I know each other for a while now. I really like hanging out with you and I want to be more then friends with you. Will you be my girlfriend?� Amy was very shocked to hear this. She then lost grip of the branch and fell from the tree. Du saw her falling and so he put his arms out and caught her. They stared at each other for a long time. Amy then open her mouth and said, �I really like hanging out with you and I will be your girlfriend.� Du was very happy to hear this and dropped her. He helped her up and was sorry he dropped her.
They came searching for us and told us the news. Du and Jimmy then told turns introducing us to Amy and Joanne. We all welcomed them with open arms. As the last apple falls from the tree and autumn comes to an end I knew that our group will only get bigger and so we happily await the next person to join in our group.
