| Shields |
| Shields of course are used to protect your suit from suffering damage. Suits are not invincible. This means you can't use a simple round sheild to block a shot from a Twin Buster rifle. Yes, shields can be destroyed. The basic shields, the round and long, defend against most basic projectile weapons and have some ability to defend against heat and beam weapons. It will not hold out forever against 20 90mm machine guns, 2 large heat shorters, or a plasma long sword. That isn't realilistic. There are gundanium versions (GV) of the round and long shields, and all shields after them are defaulted as gundanium. Gundanium type shields can defend against more hits than the normal ones. The beam shield protects against the most hits. Each hit causes it to lose some energy, the amount lost depending on the power of the hit. It can be recharged only after battle. It can be destroyed if a hit goes through it completely and hits the shield's material components directly. Planet defensors DO NOT last forever. They create a magnetic field that blocks projectile weapons (bullets, missles, grenades) and all beam/plasma energy used on them. All laser, heat, and basic melee weapons go through their field. Each hit causes them to lose some energy, depending on the power of the hit. They can only be recharged after battle. They can link up with the PDefs of another MS or be sent to defend another MS ONLY IF you have the approprait system equiped in your MS. At this time they cannot be used as a weapon. |

| Buster Shield - $1500 small but strong, made to be mounted on a forearm, can be fired as a weapon |
| Hell Buster Shield - $2500 same as the Buster Sheild, but stronger, more powerful, and faster |
| Crash Shield - $2500 about as big as the round sheild, but has a beam saber on it |
| Beam Shield - $3000 sheild made out of beam energy, cannot stop lasers |
| Armor Coat Wings - $6000 +20 speed +10 agility when up, when down -30 agility, covers torso, shoulders, and waist, cannot use a jet/bird/armor mode when equiped Energy Shielding Add-on - $10,000 add on for the armor coat, generates an electromagnetic field around the wings when they are down that can defend against large amounts of beam energy Active Cloak Add-on - $20,000 add on for the armor coat, can make a mobile suit invisible to all visual sensors for a period of time |
| Planet Defensors - 1x $400, 4x $1600, 10x $4000 used to create a magnetic field to stop all projectile weapons and energy except lasers, need at least 3 to work |
| Shield Flasher - $1000 same size as round shield, connects to the forearm, can cause a flash of light to blind other pilots temporarily, can be combined with heat shorters or large heat shorters to make a "cross crusher" |

| A.S. Planet Defensor - $5000 move around like pdfs but 1 gives the same cover and power as a beam shield |
