| the Game Master (or GM, which happens to be me for this game, the one who made this page) has various things he/she (in this case he) can do at their discretion. GM may at anytime change any rules make new rules get rid of rules interpret anything unclear written by a player cancel any action made by a character change the final outcome of any player's actions kick anyone out of the RPG with resonable cause gets final word in EVERYTHING Generaly a GM may do anything by their discretion to help better the RPG and to keep players from attempting to go around rules, use loopholes, or to get rid of someone if they feel that it is needed. And, please, do not try to argue the GM's "Final Word" or else you will place yourself in a very bad position. General RPG Rules Freeform the term freeform means there will be no stats used in the game: please use good judgement in your roleplay, no one is unbeatable and no army is unstopable, pdfs do not stop everything and gundams don't finish everything off in a single hit the GM will watch RP closely Character Rules you may only play multiple characters, 2 to start, ask the GM when you may have more you can NOT play a character from any Gundam anime or any other anime, manga, cartoon, comic, or computer game except those specifically from Gundam Wing you may have NPCs, but remember, NPCs are only used to move things along, if you use one more as a PC and already have as many characters as you allowed then you could face punishment if you are writing for another person's character, be sure you know how THEY would have their character act, do not have that character say/do anything they wouldn't normaly, and do not write out the actions of a character you are fighting against there is no problem with characters having relationships, but both players must agree on their characters being involed in it lastly, do NOT "god-mode", god-moding is acting like you are invincible, dodge every shot, hit with everyone of yours, kill everything in one hit, and basically act like you are a god Content and Writing Rules anything you write that does not fit the RPG, either by rules, timeline, not giving someone a chance in battle, or something else, you will be asked to rewrite it no racial or sexist slurs, you don't have to be "politicaly correct", but be very careful what you say no hentai or "on-screen" sexual scenes, kissing snugleing, and a little touching are okay (nothing extreme), you can suggest something happened, but that is as far as it goes PLEASE check your spelling! Your character must have some sort of reason for anything they do. You can't just attack the leader of OZ cause you wanted to lead OZ, however, if the leader of OZ is attacking your base you may fight them to defend yourself. things can be violent, considering this is an RPG where you are going to be in war machines, meaning yes, you can have violent scenes, I would prefer you to not get too descriptive on violence, but it is your own choice to make how extreme violence goes just about anything can happen in the plot as long as you stay withing the limits of the Gundam Wing world and timeline, meaning no Zakus or vampires Conduct, Quiting, and Returning please, treat other people with respect on the message boards and try to keep disputes as character only and don't take in character insults personally when I make a ruling in the RPG and say it is decided or final, the argument is over with! Do not give me any "but in the show" or any other huffy words if you quit the RPG, you lose your suit, money, and equipment, but your base and defenses will still be standing (unless they get destroyed), and your character could possibly be killed in battle if you wish to return to the RPG after quiting, please make a new character Warnings warnings are issued at my discretion for breaking of rules or inactivity 3 warnings over the period of 2 months will give you a severe warning 1 sever warning will cause you to be suspended for 5 days 2 severe warnings over 6 months will give you a 2 week suspension 3 sever warnings over the period of 8 months will eject you from the RPG if you are inactive for a period of 1 month with no excuses, you will recieve a warning, if this goes on for 3 months with no excuses, I will eject your character if you know you are going to be inactive for a lengthy period of time, SAY SO MS rules MS do not have stats in the freeform game but this fact is not to be abused! Mobile suits of cannot appear in the game before they have been designed and created: this means no Virgos early on. Concerning this, Taurus are not avaiable at the games start and are space only at first, the Vayeate and Mercurious need to be designed by the scientists together partially based on Taurus, Virgos are a mass-produced combanation of the Vay and Merc, and the upgraded Deathscythe Hell and Alrton have equipment based on the Vay and Merc. Leos and Aries are the most common suits, they can be upgraded, but only to a short degree, niether of theses suits can be a gundam! Upgraded varients are reserved for highly skilled pilots and high ranking pilots. Most well known upgrades for Leos are flight packs (that only have limited use) and a pair of cannons placed on the shoulders. Gundams can only begin in the hands of a Gundam Pilot and they need someone else with an extensive knowledge of mobile suits to build one for them. Yes, Gundams are powerful mobile suits and can tear through lesser mass-produced MS with little problem, they however are NOT invincilbe and should not be treated as though they were. Weaponry rules MS have a set of weaponry that they carry with them. |
