Claws, or Dragonfangs, are between melee and ranged weapons. The can go through PDefs. The Shenlong and Altron claws are directly connected to the arms so damage to them can effect the hands and arms of a suit. Th Alto-long claws are connected at the forearm and do not extend the suit's arm, so damage done to the claws do not effect the arms or hands.
Claws do NOT always auto-kill a suit. Wu Fei once grabbed a Leo with the Shenlong's claw, but it didn't get destroyed so he filled it with rounds from its head vulcans. The damage they do also depends on your strength.
The claws can all have weapons added to them. These are on their heads, so the claw is active (ready to shoot out) when they are being used. If you have more than one weapon of the same type on a claw, their fire is linked.
Last of all, the cost for a calw is for one claw only. If you plan to buy 2, double the price. You can have 2 of a different type. |
