Information: With two thirds of Earth's surface covered in water, it wasn't long before Zeon engineers began looking for ways to conquer the Earth's oceans as well. After a miserably failed project for an Amphibious Zaku, both the Zeonic and Zimmad corporations each fielded a mobile suit of their own. Zimmad's MSM-03 Gogg proved a good design while underwater, but its water cooled reactor limited its sorties on dry land, and with all of Gogg's weapons mounted in its torso, it wasn't very easy to aim. Zeonic fielded their own design, a conservative MSM-04 Acguy. While cheap and easy to produce, Acguys were weakly armored and easy to destroy. Finally, a small third party corporation called MIP produced their own, a downright sinister mobile suit, the MSM-07 Z'Gok. Z'Goks were fast, heavily armed and sported much thicker armor than the Acguy. A Z'Gok mounted a pair of mega particle cannons, one mounted in each forearm, as well as six 240mm missile launchers. The Z'Gok's forearm mounted mega particle cannons proved much easier to aim than the Gogg's belly mounted weaponry, and the heavier armor gave a Z'Gok a much longer lifespan than the simple Acguy. Also, to round out its armament, Z'Goks mounted three long claws on each arm, perfect for battering enemy mobile suits in melee combat. Combined with superior weapons and armor, an secondary air cooling system was provided for long sorties outside of water, where the Z'Gok could function almost as well, if not better, than regular land mobile suits.
