He lost consiousness and woke up 3 days later in the cockpit of kaempfer on the battlefield, he lost his memory and the zeon forces reenlisted him as a private do to his accident, not much is known about that day. The cool, quiet Silex has nerves of steel and superb reflexes, qualities which serve him well in his cover identity as an acrobatic clown in a traveling circus troupe.
