Information: The Gouf was developed as a close combat assault model Mobile Suit meant to replace the Zaku II as the mainstay of the Zeonic military. Unfortunately, though it outperformed the Zaku, it was quickly outdone by Zimmad's new skirted Dom Tropen Mobile Suit. As a result, only a few models were produced and most were given to ace pilots who prefer the now outdated model. The Gouf features a heat rod which is capable of either slicing or grappling action, as well as electrocution attack once it has wrapped around a target. On it's left hand, in lieu of normal fingers, the Gouf has five small machine guns and it is capable of equipping an optional shield as well as a heat sword and the 120mm machine gun normally used by the Zaku II.
