As Ky and Wufei trudged along through the icy landscape, they were grateful for the weather had let up and it was actually calm and sunny. Their going was slow, however, because Wufei’s gundam was badly damaged in their last battle. They decided to rest inder a large outcropping of rocks. Unbeknownst to them, Domon in his Phantom gundam was perched above them, waiting to strike.
“ I have to take Ky out first,” he thought to himself, “ or he’ll be able to take me out.”
He activated Phantom Gundam, and stood up. And almost fell over. “Damn, my leg.” He stood the Phantom gundam up again, this time more carefully. Warnings bleeped all around his cockpit because of the damaged leg. He ignored them. “I’ll have to do this quick,” he thought.” Well, here goes nothing. His verniers fired, and the massive Phantom gundam took flight. But as soon as he took off, Halo gundam’s proximity alarm went nuts, alerting him to Domon’s presence. Before he could do anything though, the hulking form of Phantom gundam was there, Exeter at the ready.
“NOOOO!!!!” As Domon fired, Wufei jumped in front of the blast, which melted through his gundam like butter. Aegis gundam was blasted back into Ky, who simply tossed the smoking hulk of scrap metal that was once Aegis gundam, off of him and fired both his head and chest vulcans at Domon, then shot out from underneath the cliff while Domon was confused. He flew around behind Phantom gundam, readying the sword of Heavens to turn Phantom gundam into shish-kebab. Domon recovered and swung his gundam around and fired again. But he forgot about his leg, and it buckled, the metal wrenching under the pressure. The blast from Exeter hit Gundam Halo in the arm that held the sword of Heavens and turned that arm into a smoking hunk of fried circiutry and metal. The impact from the blast sent Ky skidding through the snow.
“ That was a nice trick you pulled, Domon,” Ky said as he got up. Cursing silently at his busted leg, Domon didn’t answer. He just hoped his gun would recharge quick enough before Ky would be able to take him out. As Ky got up he tried to move his arm, unsuccessfully. So he tore his arm off completely, and picked up the sword of Heavens again and walked slowly over to Domon.
As Ky neared him, he fired his vulcans, which had little effect. “Come on, Domon, think. There’s gotta be a way I can get out of this.” he said to himself. He kept trying to stand his gundam up, and it seemed someone up there liked him, for Phantom gundam slowly rose. A slamm blip went off in his cockpit, telling him Exeter was again charged. As he raised his arm up, suddenly Gundam Halo filled his viewscreen.
“ Not again, Domon. You got to use it once. That’s way to many times.” Ky slashed Domon’s arm off, following that strike with another one that severed both his legs. Not surprisingly, Phantom Gundam toppled to the ground. Ky stood still for a moment, then activated his shining finger. His hand glowing green with energy, he reached down and grabbed the head of Phantom gundam and hefted the torso of Phantom gundam up. The metal underneath his fingers began to smoke and glow. Inside the cockpit, Domon’s viewscreens went black as the cameras were melted away.
