Battle Royal Details:

Start Date: 25th June 2003

End Date: 29th June 2003

Participants: Vegetto, Dark, Gir, Sharpie, Ryo, Kenshin, Adverb, Ferd Yuy and Spawn.

Objective: Reach the highest peak of the central mountain in the artic wastelands. The one who reaches there first will be proclaimed as the winner of the tournament. All participants will start from the outskirts of the wastelands and attempt to make it to the centre.

Location: Artic Wastelands

Weather Conditions: Gale force winds of speeds up to and around 65km/hr; snowstorms and hail showers are a commonplace and an outside temperature of -36 below is normal. Heat sources will quickly be frozen at such temperatures. Chill factor is 24 with a worsening of these weather conditions in the next few days. Expect little or no sun at times.

Land Conditions: Unstable ice patches are present in numerous locations, tread carefully as they will break under the weight of an MS and plunge one to its watery doom. In addition, slippery ice surfaces may cause problems when walking up the mountain along with the many glaciers and avalanches that occur. It is a great risk and potential death wish going up the mountain and one must be quiet lest an avalanche is started by any heavy vibrations. Around the mountain is the presence of extremely huge icebergs that could easily crush a MS. These icebergs drift through the freezing water slowly although getting caught in the path of one is very dangerous. Ice floes breakaway easily from the ground layer, meaning the pilot has to be alert continuously.

Area History: An arid wasteland that can support almost no life at all due to lack of vegetation and proper environmental conditions. The artic wastelands have been devoid of inhabitants for many many years although it is rumored Zeon forces built a large underground base there during UC 0078. Once upon a time, it was a land filled with greenery and animals, yet the failure of operation 'British' (A Zeon mission to drop a colony on the federation HQ in Jaburo, South America, failed as a result of the efforts of the Gundam team although the colony struck Australia) caused a severe change in the habitual conditions of the land, turning it into a lifeless place. This tournament may be the beginning of a new time for the wastelands.
