The lights of the colony are out.  Everyone wants to get some rest for after the sun rises rain shall start.  This isn't just weather reporter's speculation for on the colonies rain days are schedualed, they don't take you off hand unless you aren't a resident and didn't listen to any of the reports.  The only places still going are the ones needed to keep the colony going, and those who are setting everything up for the rain tomorrow.  That and one garage is open.  Inside it a man, tall, born in a black coat and silver shoulder pads.  His long hair is covered with a dew as he has been working since he came in the night before.  His Gundam, the Devil-Ex, rests as the man checks over the installation of his newest weapon, the Zantetsuken.  Taking in a breath of air he turns and glances out the window as a gloved hand comes and swipes the sweat from his brow, a light twinkling up above but given little notice.

Having entered the colony just some hours ago, Santanus flies about checking each garage.  The pilot has some prey in mind, and he knows his prey would be installing the sword that was said to have been found just the day before.  Two more garages to check, one with lights still on.  It has to be the prey in that one if the prey wanted the sword upon his suit before anything happens.  The pilot of Santanus smiles and sends his suit down to the garage, or rather two blocks away landing as quietly as he can.  No one out to bother as he creeps along as quietly as his Gundam will allow.  "So many to choose from, oh so many," Santanus' pilot speaks softly to himself while he already pulls out the Vendetta, a blade that should slice nicely through the door.

Nicely it did slice through.  Before the man working upon his Gundam knew it as he sat on the open door of his Gundam getting some rest, the garage doors were cut in four with two strokes and two missiles smashing into the far end of the wall.  They only hit two parked Leo's, but those in turn have their generators blow sending the surrounding three up as well and the back wall completely off.  Stepping into the garage Santanus scans the screens, halfway dissapointed, halfway happy that he'll still recieve a fight upon seeing his prey's Gundam door close.  Squaring off he sets up a link with his prey, "Well Sephiroth, how did you like my greeting.  I hope you don't mind, but being you turned down my offer to battle, I thought I'd force you to."

"The wake up call was a bit rude, and you could have at least brought me some breakfast Sharpie."  Sephiroth rubs his bruised left cheek, surprisingly the only damage he recieved from the greeting besides some burnt hair.  "Then again, I wouldn't expect one of your intelligence to be able to save enough money to buy even a microwaved meal at a gas station."

Sharpie growls and turns off the video though leaves open the voice chat with Sephiroth.  "You'll pay for that comment!"  Santanus' boosters start as he flies forward through burning rubble to Devil-Ex.  Vendetta in Santanus' right hand held to the left, coming closer bringing the arm around in an upward slash.  Devil-Ex though wasn't just going to sit with pilot inside praying before allowing death to burst through the door.  Retractable Blade flipping out of Devil-Ex, he blocks the blow with his retractable blade, working for this time but with the power of Vendetta the blade brakes.  His Buster Shield comes forward on the left arm smashing into the suit of Santanus, the blow being enough to cause Santanus to stumble backwards allowing Devil-Ex to pull out it's Beam Sword.

Taking use of this chance, Santanus in turn tosses the Vendetta to the left hand as the right pulls out Excaliber.  "Not bad if I must say so Sephiroth.  You really are stronger then I am, though saddly, that seems to be the only thing you out do my leetness with."  With a chuckle Sharpie turns on his chest vulcans, seeing them begin to turn Sephiroth brings his buster shield before him to block what he can with his damaged shield but no bullets come.  The thing had been a decoy.  Sharpie's leg missiles open again sending off two more missiles going and blowing the legs of Devil-Ex to nothing useful.  The explosion going about Devil-Ex's frame covering the suit from sight.  "Guess my work is done with here," he says to himself while putting away the Vendetta.

Yet he should not have spoken to soon.  As the smoke from the blast begins to clear the Beam Saber can be seen destroyed by the explosion and part of a suit.  The thing though is getting bigger as Sephiroth goes towards Sharpie with the upper half of his frame.  Luck may have allowed him to live for now.  Though he had tried to make it without using his new weapon, the time surely has come.  "DAMN YOU SHARPIE!"

With the glint of blade rising through the smoke Sharpie wastes no time.  In a moment he switches on all his vulcans, sends off the remaining 11 shadow missiles as well as aims his left dragon fang at Devil-Ex emerging it with the barrage of attacks, with one final kick to add.  A beam of light comes down through the ceiling of the garage as holy wrath smites Devil-Ex, Zantetsuken coming down with Genocide slash set.  Saddly though, the blow never struck Santanus as the barrage blew Devil-Ex and it's pilot to nothing, just one sword length from Santanus.

About the colony in the now emerging grey light, the garage blows apart to nothing but rubble and flames.  The rain begins to come down gently and within a moment in a down pour as sirens from several police stations, ambulances, and most of all fire departments around the area grow closer together at that point.  The rain alone can't stop the flames of the former garage, nor even those of the surrounding buildings that caught fire.  That peaceful colony, now wet and dreary with dancing red.

[RECAP:  Sharpie used all 15 shadow missiles that were upon his Gundam and quite a bit of the fuel for his Dragon Fang.  Sephiroth had a damaged Buster Shield, a broken Beam Saber, and a broken retractable blade.  Sephiroth is dead.  As for Sharpie, I'll let the webmaster decide over his fait from this battle.]
