Zakat V.S. Nightingale Gundam

Hidden within the tendrils of mist that made up the portals of the dead, Hiko Seijuro pondered the swirling stuff. It filled the entire area, settling into every nook and cranny. Each tendril wrapped around the next, forming an impenetrable sheet. He was isolated in his own silent world with nobody for miles, or so he thought. Just out of sensor range was Dingo Egret in Zakat. He sat in solitude, trying to decide the best way to approach the situation. Hiko’s silent contemplation was interrupted when Zakat burst through the mist, wielding two beam rifles. Before Hiko could say anything Dingo opened fire on Nightingale Gundam, and explosions shattered the silence. Hiko activated his hyper jammers and ducked back into the mist. Flying through the night, Dingo unsheathed his Ragnorak and gave chase. He sped through the mist for miles, hoping for even the slightest sign of motion. The attack came from behind. Nightingale Gundam swooped down on its target from above wielding Vendetta. Hiko slashed at Zakat until it finally fell to the earth. As Nightingale Gundam descended for the killing blow, Dingo’s upgraded buster shield cut through the mist and slammed into Nightingale Gundam. While his opponent plummeted to the ground, Dingo readied his Quazar Rail Gun and crept through the mist. As he approached his fallen opponent, Zakat started to shake. The shaking grew until he was forced to stop. Hiko staggered to his feet and, readying a twin buster rifle, approached the shuddering Gundam. He turned off his ultrasonic wave emitter and aimed right at the cockpit. A split second before he would have been destroyed, Dingo shot out his chain mine whip and it wrapped around the rifle. With a twitch of the whip he send the rifle, covered in mines, hurtling into the mist. A second later there was an explosion in the distance. Hiko quickly drew Vendetta and started slashing at Zakat, but he was too slow. Dingo had already unsheathed Ragnorak and blocked all of Hiko’s slashes, landing some of his own in the process. Hiko once again prepared his hyper jammers, but they had been damaged and failed to activate. He began to fly into the mist when a com link opened. On the other end sat Dingo Egret. “I think it’s time you stopped running,” said Dingo, “and saw the true power of this weapon.” Dingo pointed Ragnorak directly at Nightingale Gundam and, before Hiko could run any further, completely obliterated his opponent using the most powerful Ultimate Buster Hiko had ever, and would ever, see.
