Angel Wing Rhapsody

BY: Michiko* Tsukichi

The alarm clock buzzed, signaling my wake up call. A tangled mess of hair rose from the pillows only to slam back down again. Seconds later, my hidden hand slithered from the covers to quit the constant buzzing. Clumsily, the clock was knocked off the nightstand and hit the floor with a soft thud.

"Kuso!" I cursed. To retrieve the alarm clock, I crawled out of my bed, only to collapse to the floor. I rose from the floor, placing my clock neatly in place, and running the other hand through my silky, golden blonde tresses, letting them fall back below my shoulders. My name, Michiru Rena Tasuko, age 14, and in the ninth grade.

I studied the alarm clock slowly until the light cloud around my eyes slowly disappeared. "Mein gott, I'm going to be late!" I screamed as I ran to my closet, tearing off my sheer nightgown and rushing out with a jade green silk robe. I turned on my CD player to my "Soar" mix and hopped into the shower. I hurried out and looked at the clock again and realized I had plenty of time. "So much for that! I could have had a nice shower." I moaned to myself. I gently slid into my clothes, which consisted of a light blue tank top, a navy blue pleated skirt, and white knee-high socks. I carefully placed a black velvet chocker around my neck along with a sparkling beaded necklace that was my favorite color, jade green. I dried my hair quickly, and then brushed it into place. I decided to let my hair flow down freely, instead of tying it up. I looked into the mirror and admired myself. My outfit would be described as "school girl" attire. I floated downstairs and hopped into the car, picking the front seat. Again I placed in my "Soar" mix, and sat there, daydreaming.

I always dreamed of becoming something different. I would fly away into the world that lived inside of me and everything would be just the way I wanted it to be. I longed to have love and to be loved in return. So many occasions of heat ache became of me only making me stronger each day. There was something about my drive when it came to love and passion. It was unstoppable, nothing could get in my way unless I just woke up and felt differently. I fell out of my daze when my mother joined me in the car. As we drove off, I looked at he tiny droplets of water trickling from the sky with a variety of grays. It was rainy and dark, the kind of days I liked to see. Rainy days never made me feel gloomy, but gave me comfort and strength. The same with the moon, always the sky that made me soar higher with bliss.

SREEAACCH! The car stopped in front of the High School. I lost my train of thought and jumped out of the car. I slowly headed straight for the glass doors. As I reached for the brassy metal handle, I saw someone in the reflection. He was close enough for me to tell that he had messy, unruly brown hair and sea blue eyes. I blushed, for he was very handsome. As I turned to meet this reflection, he disappeared. I sighed and opened the door.

"Michiru!" Yelled a voice from the commons. I lifted up her head to see her friends waving at her.

"Ohiyo Michiru!" My friends shouted happily.

"Guten morgan." Michiru said in reply. My friend Briri looked puzzled.

"What language are you speaking in? And where did you learn them?" She questioned. I just shrugged. I never really thought of where I learned them, maybe from too many foreign movies.

"German, I dunno cause it's fun." I replied. Briri looked at me with a raised eyebrow and then went back to her business.

"Rei is having a party on Friday everyone!" Briri announced.

"Yup! You are all invited!" Rei added.

"Today is Friday! You should have told me sooner!" Jen snapped.

"Of course! It shall be all of us, the original five!" Vive interruptedas Jen went on and on about incompetence. "The original five", that is what we called ourselves. It consisted of Rei, Briri, Vive, Jen, and of course, me, Michiru. I smiled at my loving friends as the bell rang and I went to her class. I opened my locker and grabbed my books. I quickly glanced in the mirror to do a quick "mirror check." As I examined my beautiful eyes covered in light blue metallic eyeliner. I gasped. In the mirror I saw the reflection of the guy this morning.

I whipped around, my liquid hair harshly slapping my face. I turned around to a disappointment. Again, he wasn't there.

"Where could he have gone to so fast?" I whispered. I bit my lip and thought for a moment.

"Michiru! You are going to be late!" A voice called. I lost my deep thinking again as I returned to reality. It was Fluery, one of my best friends. No, Fluery was not a member of "The original five", but is a really good friend of mine, ever since I first moved Fluery befriended me, a true friend who was always there for me. I smiled.

"Hey Fluery" I started to say, but was interrupted by the late bell. "See you later!" I yelled as I rushed for her class. I could still hear her last words as I bolted down the hall. "She's acting strange." Fluery whispered as she followed me to the next class

"You still have one more minute!" The teacher yelled as the other students began to pack up.

"Why won't you just let us go? Everyone else is out!" Fluery yelled.

"Well you're not like everyone else now are you?" The teacher sneered in reply.

"Michiru back me up here Michiru?" I sighed and turned my head toward the window and rested my head onto my books. I looked at the rain hitting the window and traced my finger down as the tiny droplets slid down the clear glass. Behind my finger I saw movement. I rose up from my books, I gasped and my eyes widened. It was that guy! I shot up out of my desk and raced toward the door.

"You cant go yet young lady, you still have 33 more seconds!" The teacher yelled as I looped around her and out the door. Fluery stood up and sighed, gathered up both her and my books and slowly sulked toward the door.

I pushed through the sea of students as they slowly passed by like a heard of turtles with broken limbs. I knocked over kid after kid as I battled my way to the stair well and flew down the stairs. I decided to skip the second flight of stairs and slid swiftly down the cold metal railing. I made my way to the main doors and pushed them open forcefully. I ran through the pouring rain and onto the sidewalk. I slipped on the concrete and tore my socks at the knee. I strained to use my strength to get up but I couldn't. The blood was taken into the currents of the gutter, and flowed by swiftly. The pelting rain beat me down as If I were being shot in the back by several different guns, each getting more and more excruciatingly painful. I heard footsteps one by one coming towards me. I knew who it was. When they stopped, I shut my eyes as if I knew he was going to hurt me. The anticipation began to get more horrible than my knee. I felt a hand on mine. I leaped up with a rush of adrenaline, my wet hair again slapping my face, except this time it stuck there like a faraway magnet being pulled on to my cheek. I peeled my hair from my face and then fell awkwardly to my knees.

"Who are you, and why are you following me." I questioned as I glared into his beautiful eyes. My face was wet from the drops of rain letting my make up run down my face like tears of blackened sorrow, my hair soaking and the pain of my knee was bulging. I received no answer to my question, but only a smirk from my follower. Then, he knelt down slowly and wiped a droplet of rain from my cheek. I heard a voice; the voice was Fluery's. I quickly turned and smiled, and as I spun back around to face my mysterious stalker, I realize he was gone.

I walked to the door soaking not only from rain, but tears from my light blue eyes. I loudly banged on the door until there was no answer. That is when I gave up hope and decided to retrieve the key. The key was hidden in a box in the bushes. I reached out into the green blob of pointed leaves to grab the box, but only received a cruel slice on my wrist.

"Shiest! Who hides their spare key in a holly bush?" I muttered. I finally grasped hold to the box to find the key. I made my way to the door and fumbled with the key. I slowly opened the door and carelessly let the water drip dry from my numb body to the shining white marble floor. The loud squishing sound echoed down the hallway as I shuffled through the house. I removed my dripping shoes from my swollen feet, for they were not made for running. I threw my shoes into the hall closet and slammed the door shut in frustration. I ripped of my ruined blood stained socks and examined my feet. They were smothered in scarlet red and pink blotches, covered in blisters and every time I walked, beating with pain. I solemnly moped down the hall and crawled up the stairs. I made it just barely up the stairs and into my room.

I can only describe my room as "My chamber of bliss", for I am truly mirthful when I walk in. I decorated it all by myself. Lovely crystal white curtains draped over the window, blue, sponged walls and of course, my exquisite jade green accessories. I peeled off my drenched clothes and threw them into a heap of sopping mess in the closet. I flipped on the bathroom light switch and stepped into the white, porcelain tub. The bubbles rose higher and higher as the water spilt in. Within five minutes, they reached my nose and I felt that my bath was some how related to my day, drowning. I know I have it all good, maybe a little too good. My family is like the Partridge family, perfect, only trouble is the bickering between siblings. In someway, I didn't think of my life as too perfect, instead, I just want to run away from it, and freely fly. But as much as I, the dreamer imaging my own perfect fate, I know it shall never come true.

I crawled out of the tub, smothered in the tiny glittery bubbles. I smiled as I rose up my arm and popped the shiny spheres on my arm. I dried myself off with a warm, fluffy towel and made my way to my closet. I slipped into my favorite silk pajamas and my ever so fuzzy robe and slippers creating warmth for my frozen body. I heard a sound in my room, a soft tapping or opening of some sort. My first thought was that it was my cat. Another bang. No, it was too big to be a cat. I slowly creaked open the door and entered my room. Some one was in there. My heart raced to hard that I thought I was going to choke on it. I leaded against the door, maybe a little too hard when the door opened and I tumbled to the floor, above me was the intruder.

I could barely breathe, again, out of my sheer terror, I shut my eyes, unable to speak. "Michiru Rena Tasuko..." The intruder said softly in a monotone voice. My eyes opened slowly, I gasped. How does he know my name? I thought to myself. I picked myself up and looked at him. My jaw dropped, those Prussian blue eyes, his dark brown hair, it was the guy from today.

"That's your name isn't it?" He continued. I remained there, looking puzzled. I shook my head in disbelief.

"It's youI saw you today why are u following me?" I stammered, unable to say anything else. We exchanged glances until he spoke again.

"Yes, I have been watching you, and the others..." He said in reply. "Others?" I thought to myself.

You have been chosen to be part of a top secret project of the organization called 'Gundams'. You choose to go, we have your trust" He started.

"I choose not to" I asked

"You will be killed." He continued. My eyes were blank with horror. Me? Why would they ever pick me for anything that is confidential? I wanted to say yes, but to leave my family and friends? I shook my head and faster that a bullet, he lifted up his gun. "As you wish." He said monotonously. As he began to pull the trigger, I held up my trembling hand.

"Wait!" I shouted, my eyes shut, tears running down my cheeks.

"I will go with you." I whispered wondering if I would ever regret this decision.

"Pack up, we leave immediately." He said coldly, as he walked over to the window that as his entering and our exit.

I grabbed only the things that were precious to me and threw them into a suitcase. On the list were my favorite clothes, pictures, journal, sketchbook, and my own personal treasures. I got into suitable clothes for this mission, black pants and a tank top. I looked in the mirror. I was about to become a new person so I twisted the top part of my hair into two small buns, leaving the rest of my shimmering tresses hanging down. I smiled and then went on my way. As I crouched up on my window handing my suitcase down below, I looked back upon my room a tear spilling from my eyes, for who knows when I will come back and see it again.

The plane trip was long and tediously boring. I opened the window and looked at the starry sky. The stars sure look bigger up here. I thought to myself. And the moon

was rather large too. Something was peculiar about this. I jumped from my seat and headed down the aisle for the chair of my companion. He was asleep. He looked like an innocent child with his eyes lightly shut and his lips barely parted. I hesitated, and then lightly tapped his shoulder. He jolted up in pure terror and whipped out a gun and pointed it at me. I backed off in fright.

"Don't shoot, don't shoot! It's just me" I pushed my hands out in front of me, waving them around. He slowly put out his gun.

"Since you are now going to be apart of this organization, you should really watch what you do" He began until I interrupted.

"What are you talking about, I barely tapped you!" I shouted tapping him again, only with stronger force. He raised his eyebrow and looked at my finger. He grabbed my hand and pulled me close. There we were, face-to-face, eye-to-eye. I felt his breath on my cheek.

"You really should watch what your doing." He whispered and let go and returned to his seat. I was frustrated. I stomped over to his seat again.

"All I wanted to know, is where we are, and how long until we get there!" I yelled. He smirked.

"Shortly..." He said calmly as he looked out the window and pointed.

"See that star over there." He said as he pointed to a large sparkling diamond that glittered more bright than any other.

"Yes." I whispered in reply. He looked at me showing no emotion.

"That's colony L1, where we are staying." He said, putting his hand down and turning his head back and closing his eyes. I gasped, today had just been full of too many surprises. I get a good-looking, yet emotionless stalker, I am taken ways from reality, and I am moving to a star.

I woke up from the light tap of my shoulder. I mumbled and picked myself up from the comfy chair. I am a slow rising person, so I took my time and just let him wait for me.

"Hurry up, do you know how many people are waiting for your arrival?" He yelled. I looked at my watch and blinked.

"At three in the morning?" I moaned tiredly. He nodded and we walked fast, though it was kind of hard to do at the weak, sleepy state I was in. I looked around at the non- picturesque scene I was walking in. It looked very high tech, and laboratory like. We traveled through a long corridor, and walked out into a fascinating business-like central. "This is the space head quarters, we don't come here often, unless we are in battle. "We are in space!" I shouted in disbelief. He nodded yes, as he pointed out a long glass window. I gasped in awe at the lovely sight of the twinkling twilight. Then I turned to a long line of different people. An old mad in a white lab coat stepped out. He had long moon-silver hair and beard and odd goggle-like glasses.

"Hello, Michiru, I am Dr. J, let me introduce you to the people you will be working with." I nodded as he went down the long line of doctors and pilots. "Everyone, this is the new recruit, the first girl ever to pilot Gundam, Michiru Rena Tasuko." I smiled and felt their stares penetrating through me. One of them shook his head, the others just remained still.

"These are the doctors that help develop the Gundam Mobile suites. Gundams are the pilots that ride in a type of Mobile Suite made special. They are made out gundamian alloy, a special metal" Doctor J went on for a while about the Mobile Suits for about fifteen minutes. Then he introduced my fellow colleagues.

"This is Duo Maxwell, pilot of Deathsythe." Duo stepped out, winked and did a peace sign with his hands. He had chocolate brown hair that was pulled back in a braid; his eyes were a dark bluish-violet shade. He was wearing navy blue Catholic preacher attire. I take it he's the goof-off and fun-loving one of the pilots.

"Next is Trowa Barton, pilot of Heavyarms." Trowa looked at me with a blank expression. I would portray him as the silent one He had brown hair with bangs that went over one of his dark green eyes.

"Here is Quatre Raberba Winner, pilot of Sandrock." Quatre smiled. "Pleased to meet you, I am looking forward to working with you ever so much." He said politely. He had light, platinum blonde hair and crystal blue eyes. My personality description of Quatre would be the sweet sensitive one. I still don't know how a kid like him could get this job.

"This is Wufei Chang, pilot of Shenlong." Wufei was the one that shook his head earlier. He had black hair that was slicked back into a short ponytail. I notice his white dynasty clad, His ethnic origin was Chinese.

"Injustice! Letting women pilot!" He muttered. He was defiantly chauvinist!

"Finally we have Heero Yuy, pilot of Wing Gundam." I already knew Heero by looks and personality. Prussian blue eyes, unruly brown hair. He was the kind of person that kept to himself. Heero just snorted and glared at me for no reason. I gave him the same glare back. If looks could kill, we would both be non-existent.

"Michiru, you will get to pilot Dark Angel Wing." I listened to the lovely name play in my head. "Dark Angel Wing, such a beautiful name for my Gundam M.S.

"Am I in the right place?" Said a feminine voice. I turned to see a tall girl with dark auburn hair that went to her middle back and brown eyes. She wore black pants and a dark red tank, completed with a red bandana. She stood there and waited for a reply. "Oh yes, did I tell you we had two recruits?" Dr. J said while pointing at the girl. "This is Elise Nesa Mathews, taking the codename, Alex Nesa Martin, the pilot of the new Electric Shock!" Dr. J continued. Alex waved and had a big grin on her face. She seemed to be a friendly girl, I am glad that I am not the only girl here.

"Michiru, you will also need to pick out a code name." Dr. J explained. Then, Dr. J went on with the introduction of the pilots again.

Even though we just got to space headquarters, we were scent to the Earth headquarters in France. Another long excruciatingly boring flight was in store for me, or so I thought. Alex was the talkative type. She told me of her past and how she had always dreamed of becoming a secret agent or a warrior, and this was the closest she got to it. I also had a similar dream of running away from reality.

"So you have family in America?" I asked curiously, unknowing that it was her soft spot. Alex just looked away blankly. Then she looked back at me, I could tell she was fighting battles inside of her. "My family was killed when I was very young by a woman known as Lori Chaster, an employee for Oz." She whispered. I sat there in confusion. How could someone this happy have such a sad past?

"Oz?" I asked in wonder. She looked at me like I had been deprived from all knowlege, like I was asking what the equation 1+1 equals.

"You really don't know?" She asked with a laugh. I shook my head and looked at her with a puzzled expression.

"Oz is the organization who developed the first mobile suits. They carry on the plans of The Romerfeller foundation and the Alliance, who rule Earth and the space colonies. For decades, Oz has crushed rouge nations and bullied space colonies only to receive the reputation as a widely despised, repressive dictatorship. It is our duty as Gundam pilots is to stop Oz's mobile suits, with ours when engaging battle." The information seeped through my mind. I have to fight in battles, kill people for the sake of humanity, a major responsibility.

I arrived at the headquarters in France at 6:00 am. I was suffering from lack of sleep, any minute I could collapse and fall into a deep sleep. I clumsily walked into the glass door. I rubbed my head with the palm of my hand, and with the other, I opened the door. This headquarters looked exquisite with the lovely cream-colored marble floor and ceiling. The elevators seemed to climb endless heights. I wondered around each floor until I found my room number, number six, for the sixth Gundam pilot. I opened the door slowly and walked through a small walkway. As I turned the corner, I looked at a lovely serene sight of a beautifully decorated room. Light blue walls; with a queen sized be with a crystal blue down-feather comforter and sheets of jade green. There was a desk cluttered with Japanese items.

"They have been watching me closely." I said to myself as I smiled. I went to the bathroom and switched on the lights. The bathroom was decked in white sparkling marble. There was a huge walk-in closet all for me. I set my suitcase down and began to unpack my things. Hidden in the messy packing was a picture of my family. It was taken on my fourteenth birthday. A tear dropped down my cheek and I retired to my bed.

I woke up the next morning to the sunlight penetrating in my room. It slowly crawled from the floor and into my bedroom. My eyes blinked. I opened the curtains to the beholding scenery of the clear blue ocean and smiled. I then heard a knock at the door. I opened the door, unafraid of anyone seeing my messy morning state. Heero was at the door. I smiled at him.

"What is it?" I asked plainly. He looked at me with a raised eyebrow.

"What you never seen a person in the morning before? Your hair isn't exactly perfect either!" I said daringly. He just looked at me with an odd expression for a minute.

"Training starts late today, get dressed." He said. I stepped outside the door as he walked away.

"What time does it start usually?" I asked. He turned around, still with an expressionless look on his face.

"Five a.m." He said monotonously. I looked at him disappointedly. Why anyone would ever want to train at five everyday is beyond me!

Training was hard for I hadn't worked out in a long time. We ran around the whole H.Q and swam fifty laps. Alex and I were completely exhausted; the Gundam boys were ready for more.

"Weakling women!" Wufei shouted in disgust. I glared at him sharply and threw the eight-pound barbell at him. He backed away and stood their arms crossed. Duo and Quatre then came close to us and smiled.

"He's just like that" said the embarrassed Quatre. "Thanks for stating the obvious for them Quatre!" Duo said with a laugh. Alex then joined him in their laughing session. I looked over at Heero who was popping all the bones he could possible pop.

"Ewe! That is so gross!" Duo shouted in unison with Quatre. I then tilted my head to the side letting out a long and loud crack. That turned heads. Heero smirked and the others just stood there dumbfounded. I smiled and laughed, which Heero Quickly caught on and joined in.

We then began out control training on computers and all about how to work the mobile suits. It was long tedious work to hack into a file, although I did catch on quickly. Alex was having trouble turning on the computer. I could tell that physical activities are her strength and not technology. As I showed her the switch to turn the computer on, I caught Heero looking down at me. This time it was not a glare, instead he was actually smiling! Maybe he wasn't such a cold-hearted person after all. There was something about him that made me admire him every time I looked up at him. I returned a smile only to receive him turning his back. So much for that!

After a hard days work, I retired to my room. I walked into my new "chamber of bliss" and went to my desk to find a whole truckload of paper work. All of them were forms about my strengths and weaknesses. When I finished the last paper, I noticed a small envelope with my name written on it with sloppy handwriting. I ripped it open and dumped out what it contained. I gasped as I lifted up the sparkling treasure that fell. It was a silver chain with a silver charm of a feather that shimmered and shined in the sweet moonlight. Along with the necklace came a note written on rice paper. I gently opened the fragile paper and read it's words:

Michiru, Open up your wings and soar high. -Heero. I smiled and my heart pounded with great speed. I clasped the necklace around my neck and looked at myself in the mirror. My hair in it's buns with the other half tumbling down, my black and green colored attire, this is my new look.

Next couple of days we trained harder and harder for our new mission. My strength improved every time I ran, my knowledge increased every time I hacked a file. I felt my spirits lifting every time I tried. This is the life I dreamed of, a life of endless possibilities. Ever time I opened my wings to fly; I would soar higher just as Heero said I would. Dr. J then called us all in for our mission calls. My heard pounded harder and harder as I reached the office. He looked at us all and smiled.

"Pilots, I congratulate you all on your success. I watched you make progress everyday, never giving up, nor hesitating to do what you must. You are truly made for what's ahead of you. I have paired you with your most compatible partner. Good luck, and I will not let any of you change your partners."

He handed out our slips of paper. We all waited a minute to open it. Did I get Heero? No way, I would never get him, and why do I care anyway?

"Hey Michiru, we're now mission buddies!" Alex called out happily. I smiled. I didn't care if I got Heero.

"Buddy we're together! I'm so happy!" Duo shouted as he slapped Heero on the back. Heero then glared angrily and whipped out his gun. I noticed Trowa and Quatre paired up too.

The only one with out a companion was Wufei.

"Oh yes, as for you Wufei, I have paired you up with Major Sally Po, you will meet her shortly." Dr. J explained. Wufei looked at him in disgust.

"Me, with a woman? Injustice!" Wufei yelled as everyone laughed. I just stood there looked at Heero. He sat there so calm and cool. I don't know what it is that creates this feeling I have about him, but I like it.

That night I had to pack up for my three month mission. We were to head for Germany the next day and just when I was starting to get used to this place and the wake- up call. I finished packing the essentials I needed, and looked out the window. I then figured out how to open the heavy glass door and made my way to the balcony. The sweet serene ocean roared and calmed down with a peaceful silence. I watched the moonlight's reflection play wildly against the ocean waves as it sparkled causing my necklace to shine. I heard a door open and shut at the balcony beside mine. Out came Heero. He stood there, his arms rested on the railing him too looking at the moon. I smiled, my heard beginning to race and fluttering heavily. I sighed causing him to look over at me. He stood up and walked over to the raining that rested three feet away from mine. We gazed into each other's eyes; I was totally lost in those blue eyes, never to return. What was this pounding, this aching in my heart was this love? Could I ever feel love at this time in my life? I didn't know if I could ever be able to come out of this trance I was in.

The next morning I woke up to the raid beating against my window. A rainy day, like the one I experienced when I left. The clouds were full of different grays; the sea was dark and cold. These are the days I like to see on a day like this. I heard a gentle knock on the door. Expecting it to be Heero, I ran with quick speed to open it. I tripped and flew to the ground.

"Gundam pilots are supposed to be graceful!" I murmured to myself and jumped up the door. It was Alex. I reaction wasn't unhappiness, just slight dissapointment. Alex smiled worriedly.

"Are you ready girl? We are the last to leave." She said straight forwardly but sensitively. I tried so hard to fight the tears that were crawling from my eyes. "Yeah, let me just get dressed okay." I said letting a single tear slide from my eye. I never got to tell Heero goodbye. I collapsed on my bed and started to cry.

Alex and I solemnly walked down the glass corridor. Through my mind flashed memories that played on the glass as I held my necklace in my hand. The moment when I first saw Heero's reflection, when I chased after him at school, when we were on the plane together, when he first smiled for me, and out on the balcony last night. Tears spilled over my eyes and fell down my cheeks. I fell in the corridor and wept. Alex caught up to me and tried to help me up.

"C'mon girl, you know pilots are not supposed to get attached! You'll see him again, I know you will." She tried to say but I ignored her attempts. Nothing could ever help me.

"Duo, don't tell me you lost the tickets!" Yelled a voice at the end of the corridor. I removed my hands from my tear-stained face. I jumped up and ran. I turned the corner and called out his name.

"Heero!" I shouted as he turned around and I jumped into his arms. I sobbed like a child as he held me there. I never wanted to leave this ever.

"Promise me something" I began to say until my crying made me choke. "Promise me that we will find each other okay." I finished, still latched onto him, afraid that if I let go, he'd disappear.

"Promise." He whispered. I then let go and walked off. "So Michiru, what's your codename going to be?" Alex asked as we walked down the hall, opposite was of Heero. I thought for a moment.

"Usako Usako... Rena... Takeuchi." I whispered. No more shall I ever be called Michiru, and dwell on my old past. For this is my new life to live and fulfill. I now look back at my peaceful life in Japan and my new life of adventure as a pilot. I have no regrets.
