Dorothy sighed as Duo came up for his turn for thrashing.
Lady Une spoke to Duo.
"What sort of combat do you want?"
"No weapons, hand to hand" said a grinning like mad Duo.
Back to the girls on the sidelines.
"Yes, I'm winning big time" said Hilde with a evil grin on her face.
"Well since you guys are soooo confident, I bet that Dorothy couldn't beat Trowa or Quarte" said Iria
"Ok, you're in" said Relena with her hands rubbing together gleefully, very unvice president like.
"I meant that she takes the two of them together" said Iria with her turn of a smirk.
"What are you girls talking about?" asked an innocent Quarte
Iria, Hilde, Relena, Sally and Catherine sweatdropped. While Midii was just watching them with amusement.
"Nothing, brother dearest. Just get prepared ok" said Iria innocently, while batting her eyelashes at her younger brother.
Quarte narrowed his eyes on his sister. When she was acting innocent he knew she was up to something.
But he turned his attention towards the fight as Duo and Dorothy began to start.
All that happened was a few seconds and Duo was beaten....badly.
Dorothy put her weapon away somewhere in her body moved towards Duo and flipped him on his back and punched him in the stomach. It happened so fast that Duo didn't have enough time to react.
"Ok, I surrender!!!" yelled Duo in pain.
"Dorothy is the winner again" said Lady Une.
Hilde went to Duo concerningly.
"Are you ok Duo?" asked Hilde worriedly.
"I'm fine babe, just let me catch my breath first" said Duo.
"Ok, this time Dorothy. You take on two opponents" said Lady Une to Dorothy.
Dorothy nodded.
"Trowa, Quarte. You two are on" said Lady Une.
Trowa nodded and got up as well as Quarte.
"What sort of fight would this be?" asked Dorothy as her two opponents approached her.
"How about weapon and hand to hand" suggested Lady Une.
"Hold it" said a voice from the doorway.
All the heads turned at speaker.
It was a beautiful woman at the doorway with brown long hair tied up in a ponytail and sparkling silver eyes and with her was a man taller than her with black hair and blue eyes. They were both dressed in black.
"What's going on?" asked Lady Une.
"Melanie, David stay out of my business" ordered Dorothy.
"No can do" said an amused baritone from David.
"Ok, what's going on?" asked a very confused Duo.
"Lady Une" said Dorothy.
"These two busy bodies are my professors if you can call them that" said Dorothy.
"That's enough Dorothy" said Melanie sharply.
"We just came to inform you that Dorothy Catalonia's life is also being targeted" said David.
"Damn!!!" said Dorothy. "Couldn't you have emailed me this information or something" she demanded.
"Nope" said a grinning David. "I want to also be in the bet of who's going to beat you my dear and besides it's more fun to see your reaction first hand"
"Huh" was the reply from all the gundam pilots except for Trowa and Heero as usual.
All the girls sweatdropped as the gundam pilots turned to their respective wives, partners and siblings.
"What bet?" asked a puzzled Dorothy.
Melanie was walking towards the girls now. She was grinning evilly.
"The bet that Hilde, Relena, Sally, Iria, and Catherine has that who is going to win who" continued Melanie.
"Wait a minute!!!" said Duo "These girls had a bet on us to see who would win?"
"Yup" was David's cheerful reply.
"Just peachy keen" muttered Dorothy. "When I come in here supposed to be doing my job, now I turn into a bloody bet"
"My sister is also in this" demanded Quarte.
"Right again my dear" said Melanie still grinning.
Quarte glared at his sister while the other gundam pilots glared at their wives, siblings and partners.
"Don't glare at me Trowa" said Midii calmly. "I didn't take part"
"She's right" said Melanie. "She's the only one besides Dorothy who isn't in it"
"How do you know about the bet?" asked Hilde.
"We know everything" said David mysteriously
"Ok, people stop glaring and go over important issues" said Lady Une. Interrupting all the glares from everyone and she had all their attention.
"You said that Dorothy Catalonia is also being targeted" asked Lady Une.
"Yup" said David.
A groan came from Dorothy.
"Are you ok Miss?" asked Quarte worriedly.
"Just peachy keen" muttered Dorothy. She took off her glasses and turned to glare at Melanie
"Don't blame me dear." said Melanie calmly.
"What's going on?" said Duo.
Everyone in the room groaned at Duo's question again.
"the Darkness must have taken a liking to Catalonia"muttered Dorothy.
"Alright everyone in my office now" said Lady Une.
"What about the fight?" asked Sally
"Well worry about it later" said Lady Une while Wufei glared at Sally. She glared back at him.
"You both said that Dorothy Catalonia's is also being targeted" said Lady Une as she restated the facts told to her.
"But she disappered after the war and was never found again" said a puzzled Wufei
"Even when Heero here tried to track her nothing came up" said Duo.
Heero gave Duo a death glare, Duo hid behind Relena.
"Save me" he whispered to her. Relena just grinned at him.
"Because she's not real" said Dorothy tiredly.
"WHAT!!!!" said the gundam pilots including Lady Une and their partners and siblings.
"It's true." said David. He looked at Dorothy meanfully. "It's time to tell them the truth don't you think?"
"Yes" said Melanie. She was leaning against David. "They have a right to know"
Dorothy narrowed her eyes on the two. "If I didn't know you two better I'd say you planned this" she said
"Who, us?" said Melanie innocently.
"Have the right to know what?" asked Heero
Everyone in the room stared at Dorothy.
"Bloody hell" muttered Dorothy under her breath
"Did you say something?" asked Iria
"No" said Dorothy. Then she turned to look at the others around the room.
She sighed, then she looked at Lady Une in the eye.
"What do I look like to you?" asked Dorothy
"You look like Dorothy Edwards" said Lady Une.
"Where is this leading us Onna"demanded Wufei. "Just tell us what is it that we need to know"
"Wufei Chang, you still are a sexist pig. I don't know how Meiran can stand you" said Dorothy.
Wufei went all pale. Then he went and grabbed Dorothy on the shoulders shaking her hard. "What do you know about Meiran" he demanded.
Dorothy took his hands off his shoulders and said to him. "Meiran was one of the people I trained with. She died trying to save the colonies she grew up in." she continued painfully "Did you know, even till her death she said to me that she always loved you though I could never figure out why"
"What training?" interrupted Quarte.
