| Previously on Yu-Gi-Oh As you already saw on the first page, yugi Moito defeated Seto Kaiba and lost to Pegasus, however Pegasus decided to take Yugi's gramps soul. In order to get it back, Yugi must win the tournament Pegasus is hosting at duelist kingdom. |
| Anyway back to the story. Around the same time Joey recieves a video from his sister, Serenity, who tells him that she doesn't too much time to go before her eyes don't work. After seing this, Joey is determined to win the tournament prize money to help her. However Joey wasn't invited to the tournament, so he tries to sneek in. However he get caught trying to get on the boat! Fortunately Yugi was there to fish him out. Yugi sacrifices one of his star chips to allow Joey in. On the way they meet Rex Raptor, Weevil Underwood and Mai Vaentine. Weevil convinces Yugi to let him see the rare Exodia cards he used to defeat Kaiba, but Weevil throws the cards into the sea. Joey foolishly jumps in to get them but is overcome by the sea, Yugi jumps in to save him and they are saved by Tea and Tristan who also snuck onboard the ship. Soon after they reach Duelist Kingdom. During the boat trip Joey aquires new cards: Baby Dragon (1200/800) Kunai and Chain (TRAP) Salamandra (MAGIC) Shield & Sword (MAGIC) Once the tournament begins, Yugi battles Weevil in an attempt to eliminate him. In order for Yugi to get Weevil to bet his 2 star chips ('Cos Yugi gave 1 to Joey) he also bets his deck. Weevil accepts and battles. *The advantage first goes to Weevil as he stole the rulebook to learn the rules. However Yugi defeats him.* Joey becomes too egar to battle and accepts a battle from Mai. As the match begins Joey is baffled by Mai's "psychic" powers and starts to lose. But with the help from Yugi he overcomes this and beats her. After the duel Yugi, Joey, Tea and Tristan come hungry and notice that there ain't any places to eat. But when they find some food they meet Mako Tsunami. Yugi battles and beats him. After that they meet a person whos items are taken by a mysterious character. They confront him and it turns out to be Mokuba (Kaiba's younger brother) However he gets Kidnapped by one of Pegasus's guards. The only way to get him back - defeat a mystery duelist.... SETO KAIBA!!! Yugi doesn't believe he is Kaiba and battles him. Its not really Kaiba however he does have his deck and unleashes the Blue Eyes White Dragon upon Yugi. While this happens the real Seto Kaiba helps Yugi beat him by hacking into the duelist kingdom mainframe and infecting the Blue Eyes White Dragon with a virus. After the battle Mokuba is taken by the guard. (despite the agreement made before the duel) Mai convinces Rex to battle Joey and so they battle, but this time Yugi cannot help or Joey is disqualified. Joey beats Rex and also get the rare Red Eyes Black Dragon from him as well. |
