                   Chapter 1

*Lessons are usually learned the hard way. People are always trying to do things on their own and not taking others' advice. We are all the same, thick headed and stubborn.*

Robyn stretched out in front of the fire in one of Quatre's many mansions.
"I don't understand, why can't I become a pilot?" she asked, the innocence of childhood shining in her eyes.
"Well, for one thing you're to young." Renee stated head still buried in her book.
"So! Tell me some thing no one has told me already."
"If you were to see the many things we have.... if you were to know what we've heard, you would want to go back on being a pilot....." Quatre said handing everyone tea, except for Robyn who got hot cocoa. Megan, Renee and Jennifer busied their selves by putting huge amounts of sugar in the tea.
"Robyn, if you were to go thru training this early in life you could be killed." Duo stated.
"For once the braided baka is actually right." Wufei started.
"Come on Imoto, time for bed. Lady Une wants to have your help with some papers." Jennifer said
"Okay." Robyn finished the last of her cocoa and followed Jennifer to an empty bedroom.
Robyn put her pajamas on and climbed into the gigantic bed and pulled the covers over her. "Jen, why can't I become a pilot?"
"You'll understand soon enough. Now go to sleep Imoto."
"Goodnight Jen. Can you send Heero up?" Robyn asked
"Sure good night." Jennifer walked downstairs. "Heero, Robyn wants you to tuck her in." Heero stood up and walked past her giving her a deathglare . "Hey! Don't look at me! She's the one who likes you!"
"Yea, sure." Heero said. He went up stairs and came back down about half an hour later.
"What Happened?" Trowa asked.
"She made me stay in there till she fell asleep." Heero said. "Here's a question, why does she like me?"
"That's a very good question." Megan said
"Well you know she is only 9 years old." Relena pointed out. Earlier in the year Relena had gained the trust of Robyn and both had become friends, Relena Telling Robyn stories and Robyn making up ones.
"In my opinion she should like Duo, I mean come on. Her and Duo are almost exactly the same." Renee said smirking at the deathglare Jennifer was now giving her.
"Can we get off the subject please!?" Quatre said " Lets all play a game."
"Charades!!!!" Renee said Jumping out of her chair.
"YEAH!!" said Jennifer and Megan.
4 hours later
"Come on everyone lets go to bed we have a long day ahead of us." Said Quatre standing up and yawning.
Everyone herded upstairs. Heero's bedroom was across the hall form Robyn's, Next to Heero's room was Wufei's, across the hall was Quatre's room, next to Quatre's room was Renee's, across the hall was Trowa's room, next to Trowa's was Megan's and across the hall was Duo's room and next to his room Was Jennifer's room and across the hall from her room was Relena's room.
The night went by quietly, except for the constant snoring from Duo's room. The next morning Quatre woke everybody up, besides Duo who refused to arise.
"Duo won't wake up?" Jennifer said evilly
"Duo won't wake up." Megan said just as evilly
"Duo won't wake up!" Renee said even more evilly, and opened the door to Duo's room. The three girls crowded in.
"On the count of three�" Renee said " 1�. 2�. 3!" At once all three girls leapt on to Duo's bed sending him in the air, and back down to his bed with a thump.
"What in the name of God did you do that for, huh?" Duo said.
"You wouldn't wake up." Jennifer said innocently, getting off Duo where she landed.
"So? Your point being What?" Duo stated getting more and more agitated.
"Don't you remember Duo?" Renee said standing up " We have to stop at the Preventers office and drop Robyn off."
"Yeah yeah yeah, alright lemme get dressed." Duo said kicking everyone out of his room.
A knock came on the front door.   "Hello Noin!" Quatre answered the door greeting the familiar face.
"Hello Quatre, I need to talk with everyone." Noin stated rather urgently.
"Umm�. Ok, but is it something that can be said around little ears?"
"How little are we talking about Quatre?" She asked giving a puzzled look, when out of no where a ball of joy about 4 ft tall shot out of nowhere and attached itself onto Noin's right leg.
"NOIN!" Robyn exclaimed a silly smile spreading across her face.
"Hello Robyn." A slight smile spreading across her face. "How are you little one?"
"Great! I'm going to help Lady Une today!" Robyn said
"Really? How nice. But right now you really need to unlatch your self from my leg, it's going numb."
"Oh, Gomen!" Robyn said letting go as instructed. Then the phone rang.
"Hello?" said Trowa picking up the phone in the kitchen. "Yes she's her, may I ask who this is. Oh ok hold on, " He covered up the receiver "Jen, pick up the phone it's your mom!"
"Mommy! Hi!" Jennifer said picking up the phone in the sitting room. Trowa hung up the other phone.
"Hi hunny, I have a question." Said her mom. " Can I stop by really quick. I need to drop off something."
"Sure I don't mind."
"Trevor's coming with too. We'll be there in 10 minutes. Love ya Jen."
"Love ya mom, bye." She hung up the phone. She bolted out of the sitting room and into the back yard where everyone else was excluding Noin and Quatre who were in the kitchen talking over a cup of tea. "Guys!!!!!   Mommy's Is coming over!!!!" She said.
"Really!? Is Trevor Coming!?" Renee asked
"Yep." Jennifer said
"YAY!"
10 minutes later�
"HI TREVOR!!!!" Renee said running towards the green car.
"Oh dear God!" Trevor said " Hi Renee."
"Mommy!!" Robyn Said bolting to her side at once.
"Hi Robyn, Where's Jen?"
"She's coming, she's in the back yard."
"Mom!" Said Jen coming out of the house. "Come in!" After everyone was sitting and had a drink (except for the boys, Megan, Nay and Noin who were in the other room watching TV) the talking began.
"Trevvy!! Come out side with me!!" Robyn said. He reluctantly agreed and left Jennifer and her mom alone.
"Here Jen this is for you." Mom handed her a package. Jennifer opened it revealing a cell phone and a sleek black laptop.
"Thank you Mom!" Jennifer said hugging her mom.
"I thought it would come in handy with you Gundam piloting and all."
"How'd you find out?" Jennifer said lowering her voice.
"I was cleaning and I found your diary laying out wide open." Mom started "I read it, that's how I found out."
"Well, it's my fault for leaving it out. I guess now you really do need to know what's going on in my life."
"Yes I do, and I would like to meet these other pilots."
"OK then, hang on I have to go get them. But mom, you have to swear not to tell anyone! Not even Trevor."
"I swear."
"OK, I'll be right back." Jennifer got up and went to where everyone else was.
"Ahahaha!!" Duo was laughing, the Three Stooges were on.
"Guys, my mom knows." Jennifer said as she walked in, all the heads turned.
"Knows about what, that you're attracted to Duo?" Megan said teasingly.
"No." Jennifer's face went pale "She knows we're all Gundam pilots."

"What?" Said Noin turning just as pale
"She knows, she found my log or Diary as she thought and read it. She knows. And she wants to meet each and every one of us." Jennifer sighed
"Well, than there's nothing we can do about it, just make her swear not to tell." Quatre said
"Or kill her." Said Heero
"Heero, we are not killing my mother!" Jen said walking out.
Heero, Duo, Trowa, Quatre, Wufei, Megan, Nay, Jennifer, and Noin walked into the living room.
"Well here, they are mom." Jennifer said standing next to everyone.
"Heero Yuy." Heero said
"Duo Maxwell." Duo said
"Trowa Barton." Trowa said
"Quatre Winner. It's nice to finally meet you." Quatre said shaking hands with Jennifer's mother.
"Wufei Chang." Wufei Said
"Lucrezia Noin,I'm not exactly qualified as a pilot, but I am a preventor." Noin said.
"And you know Megan and Nay Mom, that's it." Jennifer said."Well it's nice to meet you all, so that's Duo!? Well, I don't blame you, He's a cutie!"Said Mom
"MOTHER!!" Jennifer said Blushing feircly
"Heh heh well I have to go Jen and everyone."
"Mom? Since you know will you take Robyn to Lady Une at the Preventer's Office she's helping her."
"Sure not a problem." Mom said as Duo went to go get Robyn and Trevor. "Good luck Jen and Everyone! Bye"
"Bye!" Everyone said. As soon as all the pilots were settled down again and after Heero more or less jumped for joy at Robyn not drooling over him any more Noin started to talk
"Ok guys, there's a new mission for you. Buidings have are being destroyed on colonies, L1, and L4. Several resource satilites have been mysteriously dissapering also. The colonies think it's being done by terrorists or teenagers some how able to get into the systems.."
"You mean the colonies think it's us doing these things." Trowa said bluntly
"Yes. But us Preventers have a differnt notion. We think it's being done by one person, or a person with many people to rely on." Noin said
"Osama Bin Laden." Duo said
"Duo! Osama Bin Laden is not capable of these things. And besides, he doesn't have the technology that we do." Megan said
"Right! but we have a guess to who it is, I'll give to three guesses you'll only need one." Noin finished
"Dorothy Catolonia.........." all the pilots said.
"She's our number one suspect. As you all know very well she's known for other things......"
"We know too well." Renee glanced at Quatre. "Some more than others."
"Well, where was the last fire?" Heero asked.
"On colony L4." Noin said
"Well at least we know where to start looking."Quatre said
"That's strange though." All faces turned to Jennifer. "I mean, The last fire was on L4 right? Well what's really strange is that almost all of the resource satilites are based with The Winner Foundation."
"That's right!" Megan chimed in "Maybe Dorothy, implying that she is the cause, is out to finish something she started but never got a chance to finish."
"Well, there is something we know of that she didn't finish." Wufei stated in a wisper.
"Yes...... killing me." Quatre said turning pale.
"Whoa!" Renee interjected. "we can't be sure that's what she's out to do, and if she is Quatre, and I speak for everyone here, we'd stop it at any cost." as she said the last few words every body in the room nodded.
"I really need to go, Preventers is chock full with papers that need to be looked over. Take care. I'll check back with everyone tomorrow and tell you where you need to go and what you'll need. " Noin said walking out of the house.
"OK so let's go over this again......" Renee said leaning back in her chair. "We're looking for the person who is taking these satilites, and taking out these buildings?"
"Exactly, but the question is, how are they getting these satilites? Are they destroying them? Or are they using the parts as a mass weapon?" Heero said pulling out some maps from the desk drawers. "Here. This is a map of colony L1, and... this is where the first building was supposed to go down at." He pointed out all the points that were hit with a highlighter.
"But why would they conduct such a unorganized mission?" Quatre asked. "There seems to be no pattern or acctual placement in the points hit."
"Maybe there is." All heads turned to Trowa. He bent over the map and looked. "It seems that they had a plan.... look! It seems like there isn't any pattern but, if you notice, all the points are almost randomly placed among the main power building." He finished matter-o-factly.
"Yes, and luckily the Preventers inteveened otherwisethere would be no L1 colony cluster." Heero said rolling up the map and laying down another. "This is Colony L4, now counting the attacks from L1, and counting the attacks from L4. L4 still has a great deal of attacks to under go." Heero said marking each point that had already undergone and attack.
"It looks like this person plans to get to the Winner Corp." Wufei stated. "Maybe this could be the clue we need." Everyone nodded. Jennifer and Duo were intently looking over the map of L1. Jen looked up at the map of L4 spread over the table. She pointed something out to Duo and he nodded.
"Hey, I think J-Chan and I found something. Look here.." He put the L1 Map back on the table "OK see, the colony's are relativly the same size right? So, if this map is set the same way that this one is...." he turned the map so north was to north and south was to south. "Ok so, these buildings are in almost exact alignment with these, so that means that these Three here, are the location of of the next targets!"Duo grinned. Heero nodded.
"Now, with the resource satilites. Quatre, You know you're way around the Winer Corp. And have access to Top Secret areas am I correct?" Heero asked looking over at Quatre.
"Yes, I do. " He said with a simple nod. "But I just now realized something. Documents have been missing form my desk at work lately, important documents. I just figured I accidently had given them to the receptionist to send out. But now that I think about it I had them laying on my desk and they had my signature on them......the documents may somewhat be involved." He finished sighing.
"Well, if what I'm thinking is true. We all may be in danger." Relena said coming down the stairs.
