| Beecroft Gumnut Guides' Go For It Challenge |
| Yellow - come to at least 9 out of 10 Gumnuts meetings. If you can't come, let a leader know beforehand or send a message with a friend. - wear your uniform (blue logo polo shirt or white unit t-shirt, preferably navy shorts or trousers, and school shoes or joggers) every week.. You must also bring your navy Gumnuts bag. - Have at least 5 'good turns' marked off by a leader. This includes being kind and helpful to leaders and other Gumnuts, making sure you take notes home and have everything you need each week., etc. - participate in at least one Guiding event outside of our regular Gumnut meetings (including visiting Brownies or Guides, Gangshow, unit outings, district events, organised days at Glengarry or other Guide properties, etc.) Green As well as coming to Gumnuts regularly, wearing uniform, doing good turns and going to other Guiding events (see above): - participate in at least one fundraising event (including Gold for Guides, selling Guide Biscuits, cake stalls, Jump Rope for Heart,etc) - choose two tasks you can help with at home and do each one for at least a week. These could include washing the dishes, setting the table, keeping your room tidy, looking after younger brothers or sisters, etc. Have your mum or dad sign off on your card to say what you've done. Blue As well as doing all the things on the yellow card: - participate in at least one fundraising event (see above) - write a letter, draw a picture or make a card to say thankyou to someone who has done something special for you (this could be a teacher, friend, family member, or anyone else whom you would like to say thankyou to). Show the leaders before giving it to the special person. - Choose a task you can help with at home and do it for at least a week. (See above.) Red Stay tuned... |
