 Canoe Trip News UPDATED May 23 - 2008!! From Kimmie: Hey there! Hope everyone is ready to party like its going out of style. The canoe trip is less than one month away. Please don't forget it's the weekend AFTER Father's Day as usual. LJ talked with Janet up at Wolf River earlier this week and they are still expecting us. We have the same spot as usual. Right by our bathrooms!! Hope for high water, cool nights and warm days. Oh and of course some cold beer. The only changes this year are that the price is now $35.00 a person and that I am not pregnant. Feel free to get a check to us by the mail made out to LJ or me as soon as possible. We'd like to give WRT a heads up of how many people we are expecting this year. Please get your checks/money to us by Friday June 13th to avoid any money confusion like last year. I really don't want to deal with money up in Wisconsin and will not be able to cover for anyone so if you don't get the money to me by the 13th the price per person goes up to $40.00. All extra money will go towards the campfire and ice funds. If you are not going to be at the Canoe Trip by 4 pm on Friday June 20th, please get me the money before hand or be prepared to take care of it on your own. Remember that the $35.00 per person goes towards Friday and Saturday night camping and canoing on Saturday. Any additional nights need to be paid for on your own. LJ and I will be there early Friday am. Please stop by the office when you get there and get a car pass for the weekend. Have a safe trip up and let LJ or I know if you need anything. Please pass this on to those that I have missed (Bonnie Muran and friends, Amanda Micek and Anders, Don and Uncle Bean, Miten and Bob). I added every email address that I currently have. The original goal was to help educate Canoe Trip virgins that may not have had the oppurtinity to go on this excursion to New London Wisconsin in the past. But now, with-in its frames it holds memories as well as a deeper understanding of some of the trip participants. If you have any ideas or thought of how to make this site better, let me know. |
