Rating: 8.0 High Score (so far): 5855 Where did I find this old cart? I don't even remember. But I did do a lot of research as to just who the hell made it. Turns out it was a Zellers rip off of some other game. Damn us Canadians and our ingenuity!

In this game you are, of course, flying through some sort of canyon, being beseiged by helicopters, flying saucers, and other strange alien craft. Then, after a certain number of these enemies are dispatched, you fly through a weird maze-like thing (bottom pic) that is kind of like playing "Operation". Of course, us with caffiene and nicotine addictions don't usually fare well at games of steady-hand

A few things about this game I like: You can definately get better at it. It takes a lot of times playing "Kaboom" before you see a marked improvement. Here it is pretty quick. The gameplay is pretty slick. The sweet touch that you need to get through the maze (below) is an acquired skill. Usually I can only do it if I'm drunk. Yeah, I get drunk with my Atari... what of it??!!

A great man once said "I'm a sucker for time travel". I agree. Whether or not this game has anything tangibly to do with time travel is irrelevant. The title is just enough to get my imagination whirling. I imagine a wayward crew, sent ahead in time to perform a mission, only to be stranded. They seek desperately to get back to their beloved beds and the familiar 1980's. --the great man is, of course, Art Bell
